I have ceramic-coated grill grates with deep grooves that brushes and sponges can't easily reach. The pumice stone is the only thing that can get into the grooves. I love that it wears down to the exact shape of the grill grates. And it doesn't harm the ceramic coating.

Was good use..

Works good. the bigger size makes it easier to grip for large surfaces like sinks and urinals but of course separate stones for sanitation!

Did a great job bringing an old grill and griddle back to life!

Like all of the grill stones they are really pumice blocks, and they fairly quickly turn to powder as you use them. At one time I could by a similar product where the "bricks" were nearly the size of chalk board erasers. But just like the 1/2 gallon ice cream and the 32 oz quart of pasta sauce, sizeflation has reduced the standard size of grill blocks as well. That being said, these are currently actually one of the larger "bricks" and don't shred down as quick as many others, and they will clean down to the base metal if you work with them, without exposing yourself to dangerous chemicals. Oh, and Walmart doesn't like us to mention prices but when I bough these they were one of the "more economically priced" grill bricks.

They disintegrate pretty quickly, but it gets the job done
