Coleman Swaptop™ Aluminum Griddle for RoadTrip™ Grills, Full Size

I was a bit nervous to buy due to reviews but i took a chance and it paid off in a great way griddle got nice and hot cooked bacon pancakes and eggs to perfection I have the roadatrip 285 with the 3 burners griddle dit perfect didnt care that you couldnt close the lid I wouldnt even if I could but def a great buy I also have a picture of how it looks after I used it still in great shape!

This attachment is GREAT or making just about anything outdoors. I would recommend it to anyone

I Love this Swaptop for my Colman 285 grill It's very light in Weight, and Colman shipped it out on time just like they said they would And on that holiday we got up that morning and set up everything in the park and cooked some good breakfast on it and later put the burgers on Thanks once again Colman

This griddle is amazing. It works perfect for pancakes and eggs while camping or tailgating. It cleans up so easily.

fits the roadtrip xcursion , (tip bag for griddle on Amazon. ) while i have a guide stove if , i don't feel like pumping it or swap to proane and setup , or 2 ppl cooking, got options.

Great addition for having a full griddle top on Coleman road-trip, but I didn't like the way the tabs on the bottom put the griddle way up away from the burners, and I had trouble closing the lid with this griddle in place. It's possible I just ordered the wrong model for my grill

I recently purchased the Griddle Swap Top with high hopes for a convenient and versatile grilling experience. However, after testing it out, I found that the product is just okay and falls short in several key areas. One of the primary issues I encountered with the Griddle Swap Top is its fit. The design intended for swapping out the grill for the griddle lacks a snug fit, which is disappointing. In fact, it's not even possible to snap the griddle onto the grill or close the grill when the griddle is attached. This lack of compatibility significantly limits its functionality and convenience. It's frustrating when a product doesn't deliver on its primary purpose. As a result of the poor fit, I did not end up using the Griddle Swap Top at all. Instead, I decided to return it. It's unfortunate that a product designed for swapping and versatility ultimately added unnecessary bulk to my camping gear. The inability to securely attach the griddle to the grill and close it means it takes up extra space in my car, which is a considerable drawback for portable grilling. However, despite these drawbacks, I can imagine that the cleaning process would be more convenient with the griddle compared to the grill top. The griddle's smooth surface should make it easier to clean, and it could potentially save time and effort when dealing with grease and stubborn food residue. This is one aspect of the product that seems promising, but unfortunately, I was unable to experience it firsthand. In conclusion, the Griddle Swap Top had potential but ultimately failed to deliver a satisfactory grilling experience. The lack of a snug fit, preventing proper attachment and closure of the grill, was a significant drawback for me. Although the cleaning process might be more convenient with the griddle, it wasn't enough to offset the product's limitations. I returned the Griddle Swap Top since it didn't meet my expectations and would only add unnecessary bulk during my camping trips. If you're considering this product, I would suggest thoroughly evaluating its fit and functionality before making a purchase.

Like to cook odn it. Nothing sticks and cleans up easy. But, it sits up higher, so you lose a lot of heat around the edges, and you can not close the lid when using it.

This grill top could be so much better. First for the price it should come with a carrying case. Second it doesn't fit the grill and allow you to close the top. So I was cooking breakfast and accidentally closed the lid a bit and bacon grease went everywhere!
