Stansport One Dozen Egg Carrier

I recently started using this egg carrier for my trips to the farmers market, and it's turned out to be a total game-changer. Unlike flimsy cartons, this carrier features deep, molded wells that cradle each egg securely, preventing any jostling during bumpy rides. The smaller eggs rattle a little bit, but a folded piece of cardboard for them solves that! I still do not use the handle, though, as the rattle makes me nervous. I use ice packs vs loose ice in my coolers, so I cannot speak to it keeping water out or not.

LOVE this product! It kept a dozen eggs (large) cool and dry while in a cooler of ice and water on a weekend long camping trip. We made the eggs on day 2 and they were excellent! This egg container kept my eggs safe on a four day camping trip. Much better option than using standard styrofoam egg container. Well worth the buy!!!

I wanted this egg container for camping. If you are going to only use small eggs you might be able to get 12 in the container. I use large eggs could only get 10 in and it was still hard to close. It is to small.

It appears to be functional and maybe for most people it is. However, I purchased this item to house my eggs safely for traveling in our motorhome. We travelled I-20 from Alabama to the west side of Texas in a Class A motorhome and not one egg survived. I think we would have been better off using the original cardboard carton.

no mention was made in ad that this container could not hold a dozen large eggs. too small for needs.
