Colgate Total Alcohol Free Mouthwash, Spearmint, 1.0 L

My dentist recommended the tooth paste to me years ago. I hesitated for a long time. I love the mouthwash even tho I have dentures~~the teeth may be false but the gums that hold em in aren't. My only question is should I be using the gum care mouthwash instead? And I do brush my gums w/the Colgate total toothbrush.

For years and years the stores were filled with the "L" brand of mouthwash......so that's all I bought......I didn't like the burn so I didn't use it much - literally, my eyes would turn red and bulging out, and I couldn't wait to spit it out. Then one day, I saw one Colgate mouthwash at Target where I love to shop.....I bought it.....WOW.....now I love to rinse with COLGATE mouthwash.....the only thing I wish is that Target would carry every type of Colgate mouthwash so I can buy them all (but I especially like the ones for gum health).

I BOUGHT A BOTTLE OF SPEARAMINT SURGE A FEW WEEKS AGO AND LET ME JUST SAY THAT THIS IS HONESTLY THE BEST MOUTHWASH EVER! ITS ALCOHOL FREE, NO BURN, AND TASTES SO GOOD!!! I WILL DEFINITELY BE TRYING ALL FLAVORS!! Thanks colgate for keeping my smile nice and breath fresh!!!

When looking for a mouthwash to add to my oral hygiene routine Colgate total turned out to be the most effective for many reasons. I tried countless brands some left a film in my mouth some didn't freshen my breath for the entire day some gave me dry mouth etc. This mouthwash did everything with a clean taste and an unabrasive formula. Also when I went to the dentist after using this mouthwash for a few months the hygienist commented on how clean my teeth were and how little work there was to do as there was no build up. I never heard this before and this mouthwash was the only change I had made. Thank you for this great product!

Great product, leaves mouth refreshed! Purchased product at two different locations. One is labled Total Advanced Pro-Shield, the other Total 12 HR Pro-Shield. The same UPC is used for each item. Is this the same product? Why is the product labeling inconsistent?

My 9yr old son has developed bad breath, but has great dental hygiene. His dentist recommends this mouthwash to help. I read that zinc chloride is the best ingredient in mouthwash to help with bad breath. I dont see it listed in the ingredients. Im am curious as to what this product has that for bad breath. However my son uses this 2x a day, likes the taste, and after about 1week of use it has reduced the bad breath pretty well.

really like the spearmint flavor. didn't like the price. I don't understand why spearmint is $18.00. and peppermint is only $6.00. the only difference is the flavor. Why?

We purchased a couple of tooth paste Total Advanced. The taste of the past is terrible. Unfortunately you no longer print on the box the flavor of the product. Our paste while is mint flavored has and added Wintergreen taste which we dislike very much.

It's a good product for oral hygiene. But, in case of me and my wife, it stained our teeth brown. We found this extremely troublesome as we both have job interviews soon, and it ruins the personal appearance. We had to pour away almost the entire bottle, so sorry for the poor rating.

i bought the peppermint ,on fist use i felt it was covering my teeth with a layer of protection that felt good ,but man o man after taste was nasty ,i went back to sink and spat out the taste twice , just because of after taste i will not buy this type again, and i will return it back to store see if they will take it back, I TOLD MY WIFE WHISKY DOES THE SAME JOB AS MOUTH WASH AND IT WONT GIVE YOU MOUTH CANCER BECAUSE OF ITS ALCOHOL I RATHER USE WHISKY ,SLIGHTLY MORE EXPENSIVE MOUTH WASH ,ALSO WILL GIVE YOU BETTER SLEEP.TRY RINSING USING WHISKY,YOU WONT LOOK BACK.
