I like that the colors match the color on the marker caps so there is no guesswork involved when choosing colors. These have three line thicknesses - thin, medium & wide depending what angle the tip is to the surface. Nice diameter that results in comfortable grip and is easy for small children to grasp. Whether you buy these for drawing stick people, making a simple gift tag, lettering, for kids, for kid's parties, posters or artwork they will be a great choice.
As a Spark Reviewer, I received 3 packs of Color Swell Markers with 8 markers in each pack. There are blue, brown, green, pink, red, orange, yellow, and black markers in each pack. The colors can be lighter or deeper with different pressure while using. Also, I found that the colors blend well. These are great markers, especially for younger children. They are washable, easy to hold for young hands, and the colors are quite vibrant. I've had washable markers that had muddy colors. Because I've always encouraged my children, grandchildren, and other children in my life to express their artistic side, I like to keep art supplies on hand. Kids tend to like using coloring markers and they like using these Color Swell markers. I think the thing that really sets this brand of markers apart from others is their claim that with every product purchased from their company, they will help a child in need of art supplies. I truly like these Color Swell Markers because they are washable, they are easy to hold and use, especially for young budding artists, the colors are vibrant and blendable, and the company helps children in need with art supplies.
These markers would be wonderful for home or school. I found that the markers write in fine lines if you hold them straight up and down. Then you can also color in a picture quickly by using the broad side of the marker tip. There are 8 vibrant colors. One of the interesting things about these markers is that every purchase of a Color Swell product will help children in need of art supplies through the Dreaming Zebra Foundation.
The Color Swell Washable Markers box has 8 classic colored markers including Black, Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Pink, and Brown. These are very similar to other more popular brands of washable markers and work pretty much the same exact way. The markers are nontoxic, washable and the colors are great. These markers say they are kid safe for ages 3 and up, and since they are nontoxic you don't have to worry about that one kid too much when they inevitably decide to chew on one. The markers are comparable to any other good marker. The only real complaint I have -- there is no purple! Purple is my favorite color so that kind of stinks but hopefully in the future Color Swell will rethink that. The markers are indeed washable and wipe off of surfaces with no problem, and wash right out of cloth. I believe these are sold in bulk so the price is very nice if you have a lot of kids or are teaching or even just buying them to give as gifts. Something I found really cool about the Color Swell company is that they donate art supplies to kids in need for every product sold! Gotta love that!
The Washable Kids Markers are amazing for teachers. They come in sets of eight different colors. Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, black and pink. The colors are bright and lively. I appreciate that the sets have enough color options that a table of kids can share. The markers do not have a smell, so it helps prevent kids from trying to sniff them. They have a good amount of ink in each of them so that they should last for a fair amount of usage. Marker got onto a table and was very easy to wash off. They wash off kids' hands easily with soap and water. The markers have colored caps and also spell their color on the side. This is great for helping kids learn to spell and read each color. They are light weight. They are larger markers for smaller hands but have a nice tip that allows kids to write and practice their names with. It helps kids stay within lines easier. The boxes are cardboard, yet sturdy. They should withstand well for some wear and tear from kids' usage. I am very happy with these sets of markers and have recommended them to parents and teachers at my kids' schools.
My kids couldn't wait to open these markers and start coloring! The colors are pretty, and they don't flood the paper. I attached a photo of the colors written on a white piece of printer paper- they are all pretty accurate, but know that the pink is more of a neon pink in person. It's really pretty, it just wouldn't photograph well. I tested the washable aspect of these markers on my kid's hand- I drew a large X with the blue. While it may have come off easier than a permanent marker, there is still a faint X on his hand.
These Color Swell markers are just what you need if you are a teacher or a crafty person. The markers come with 8 vibrant colors. The markers are washable. I love that when I got a little of the markers on my fingers, it was able to wash right off. When I was making a sign with these markers, I was able to draw wide lines, and I was able to draw narrow lines as well. When I wanted to draw a wide line all I did was slightly tilt the marker so that the wide edge would draw on the paper. When I wanted to draw a more narrow line all I did was hold the marker straight up and use the very tip of the marker. Each of the markers has the name of their color right on the outside of the marker, which matches the cap color. These markers draw very smoothly, and you can color with them and they still have plenty of ink in them. It appears these markers will be used for a long time. One very interesting fact about this product is when you purchase it Color Swell says they will help a child in need of art supplies through something called the Dreaming Zebra Foundation. How neat it that?!
I was amazed with these "Color Swell Washable Markers". They are truly vibrant & rich in color. Can be used in a variety of projects and they write/mark smoothly. As described, they do wash off easily, (marked my counter by accident).
These are great markers. My daughters love coloring with them. The colors are vibrant and the markers have A good ink supply. The markers can easily be cleaned up, if they get on the surface that is being colored on. Great value!!
The Color Swell Washable Markers/8 Vibrant Colors are a quality marker, the colors are vibrant and the do wash off very well! Take note that there is no color purple marker but there is an awesome pink color!
