These really work but the directions say to replace once a month and they mean it. Ants start returning shortly after a month if not replaced. This is the third month i have usd them so will be interesting to see if colony gradually reduced with continuous use.
I put one bait in my kitchen, not where my food goes. But i'm part of my counter , that's kind of off to the side where I don't prep food , but we're the ants seem to come from. wow what a reduction. i'm actually fighting a very tiny ant. call the pharaoh ant. and because this is a liquid bait, most likely, that's why it's working. It's a dual bait. it's a little bit hard to open it up , read the instructions well.. i have to get around to placing the others just to make sure. I am pleasantly pleased because pharaoh ants are one of the hardest ants to eliminate. Unless you have the greatest seal on jars , they can get in. thank goodness.I have good seals on my food.. so yes , i'm happy with this even though I think it's a bit expensive
We had sugar ants for the first time in my life. I cleaned and bleached everything down and that didn't work nothing worked. I started looking on-line and this product said the ants would take the poison to the queen. With -in less than a day the sugar ants were gone. I was shocked at how fast this worked. Unbelievable! I rate this product 100% to 100%
We had an invasion of little itty biity ants around our outdoor entry way and then coming indoors. We sprayed the outdoor area and added Combat Max indoors. Within 48 hours the ants disappeared and have never returned. We continue to use the Combat Max 2 indoors and in the garage by the garbage cans.
I found these worked very well, and very quickly in removing sweet ants from the kitchen area. I appreciate they are contained, easy to safely place in floor corners, and as stated, they worked well. Only complaint is the tab that you must remove to allow ants access to the bait compartment, can be tough to get off the trap.
This stuff is awesome and I would highly recommend it. It does exactly what it's supposed to. I can set it out where I see ants in my house the next day you don't see any ants anymore. Best product I've ever gotten to control the ants in my home.
I put one out but I haven't seen any ants since I put it out so don't know if treating outside killed them off and by the time I got these in there weren't any more ants. I will assume it works great though. Appreciate that it has baits for both protein and sugar seeking ants. That was the main reason for buying it as there aren't a lot that are truly good for both types of ant hunger.
it's definitely attracting them,a lot of them, but I feel like most of them are dieing on the counter I'm not even sure if they're actually taking the poison back to the colony or just eating and dieing
when I followed the directions and press down on the tab, it broke off and left the holes plugged up, so the ants couldn't get in. I tried pulling the tab out, and that was impossible. I don't know how these things can be opened. I had somebody else try and the same thing happened. this product was a big waste of money.
I don't know what size ants these are for but if you have the common house ant (sweet ant, pavement ant?) these tend to be avoided. I watched to see if any ants would enter the opened area but it's too tall and steep, so they'll try once or twice and then just move along. I had to make a ramp for them out of a breathe right stil, lol
