All stainless steel lined -no exposed plastic. I feel safe drinking the boiled water - no plastic leeching. Great value. On light is in the on-off lever switch. Lid open function could be better but it is adequate and you can open wider manually. The cord plug is regular 2-prong. The price point on this all stainless steel lined kettle is hard to beat. So secondary features are just average. But the overriding main feature for me is the all stainless steel lining! It holds water hot for longer, too. I've had several electric hot water kettles - this is the best.

Love that the stainless steel interior is one solid piece, no seams, no plastic inside. The outside is plastic, which makes for a light kettle but makes it feel flimsy. But time will tell if it is. So far so good!

I am a senior who was finding it difficult to use my kettle because of arthritis. It was too heavy, and the handle was too big for me to grip. So I began to search for a new one. I narrowed my search down to 3 or 4 that were in my price range, and then I began to compare. After carefully reading the descriptions, specs, and customer reviews of each, I decided on the Comfee Electric Kettle, and I'm so glad I did. It's perfect. The handle is small enough for me to grip securely. It's not very heavy which makes it easy to lift and pour, even when it's full. The water boils quickly and then the kettle shuts off automatically. It's all metal...no worries about breaking glass. The all white, sleek design is timeless and looks great on my counter. AND the cost is lower than the other kettles I was looking at.

This kettle is very easy to use, heats water fast, and looks stylish too. It has a double wall so remains cool to the touch and is not heavy to lift when water is added. I like the two level opening which keeps me from getting steam scalded. And it is on sale at a greatly reduced price! I recommend it for anyone who needs hot water for any reason!

It's stainless steel inside which I think everybody should try. No plastics. If you are like me and keep the hot water (Tea) for long hours. Looks impressive black to complement our kitchen. You cannot see the water level but you can see from top . Please be careful with hot water. Overall I think it is durable and something I can trust to dirnk Tea for next few years....go for it...

Kettle for family who make coffee and tea all day long. Large capacity that lasts for several cups and quiet boil. Easy to pour and refill. So far with kids (rough teens) and adults constantly pulling it off the element, refilling, using, and unplugging, it is a solid kettle.

when you press the button to open the top: it is stiff and doesn't open enough to fill with water. i manually push it open. It heats the water FAST!!! i really like it!!

Yes it is well constructed, and it looks nice but I missed where it said it heated the water and then shut off automatically before the water was empty. I knew it had a safety feature to shut it off when it was empty, but I thought it would stay hot until it was turned off or was too low on water. This one heats the water fine, and it is great for a cup of tea, or whatever, but I did not think I would have to reheat the water each time I needed it.

I thought I was buying an all steel no plastic inside the kettle but this one has a plastic strainer just below the spout inside the kettle. Not good if you're trying to avoid micro plastics and nano plastics.

Oddly this was labeled as 70% off in store, down from $100. I figured it couldn't be that bad. Reader, I'm afraid it is. Not only is it the flimsiest plastic you've ever felt, but when I started pouring the first cup it leaked out from underneath the “closed” lid and burned my hand. Trust me, it's bad.
