This product is very quiet. Remote control very handy. Puts out a lot of air.
Normally I only buy tower fans. These big huge things take up so much room. NOT THIS ONE!!! YAY!!! I am menopausal and have air conditioner on even in the winter sometimes. I have a minimum of 3 fans in each room. THIS IS BETTER THAN A CEILING FAN!!!! B
When I was looking for a wall Mount fan,I was disappointed that I had to “settle” for the 16 inch size because it was the biggest I could find. Well, let me tell you something. I was wrong! It's bigger than I was thinking it would be. And it works! The higher I put it,the better it works! So pleased! Very good purchase!
I love it just the right size for my bedroom,, I have a AC but sometimes it's gets to cold that's why I brought this item it cools the entire room, will not go wrong ANF and a good price!
Works great and isn't loud. I can watch tv with it on high and not have to put the tv all the way up . Also I can have it blow on me and not bother my husband on the other side of the bed.
A little louder then hoped for but when on low its like high on most fans. Was very easy to hang. Im a 60 yr old female and had it up in 15 mins. I just ordered 2 more for the other bedrooms.
Performance with the Comfort Zone 16" 3-Speed Oscillating Wall Mount Fan with Remote Control, Timer and Adjustable Tilt, White, is working as intended these past 3 days with working remote (no batteries included) and noise and force of air moved is within expectation and satisfies my needs for a wall fan; With all that being said, this particular item got past quality control due to half of the fan's plastic part is missing white paint as indicated in picture and have dont want to go into hassle in replacement just for that. Overall, good condition machine, installed easily to hollow drywall (get drywall anchors if you fear fan will get ripped from the screws provided, that is if you are not gonna bother with finding studs in wall) and clear instructions. tip: trace the hanging bracket shape and holes you intend to drill, on paper and tape it to your wall; drill indicated holes. Fast and zero chance misallignement. 4/5
We had previously ordered 2 wall fans (same brand & size) that had pull strings but we had to tuck the strings up to prevent our kids from messing with it. This one since it doesn't have the strings instead it has a remote it's great for in their bedrooms! Like the other 2 we got, only "con" is wishing the power cord was just slightly longer to have it a bit higher on the wall, otherwise no complaints! It's quiet && works great! (We have ours angled down so it blows at the kids level a bit better)
I have not been able to install this yet because it came with... not sure... seems like someone else ordered it, switched a part and returned it. One thumbscrew/bolt is too big for the hole where I think it's supposed to go, but there's nothing in the manual that shows it or that it exists. It holds the motor in place in the plastic housing, and came disassebled, though the assembly instructions don't indicate that there should be anythign to do. If I can find something around the house that will work I will try it out and modify this review. Otherwise I will have to send it back. There were some smudges on the related parts, which seems to imply that it isn't "brand" new. That's OK if it ends up working but, but a bit of a hassle. But it looks as if the hole wasn't properly drilled in the first place.
It Rattles!! off and on, it's weird because it only rattles for like 5 seconds every 30-40 seconds. Just enough to be annoying. I have no idea why. It sounds like the metal cage is rattling. Sometimes I know fans will rattle once they're older but I JUST plugged it in today. It seems like it goes harder than softer (I don't have it on oscillate). I put little scraps of paper in the crack of the fan cage and it seemed to make it stop. My initial idea was a thin bead of hot glue to cushion the gap. That would be much nicer looking and I think it would work. If the metal (tinny) rattling sound doesn't bother you (or paper on the edges) then it seems like a good fan. I liked the fact that it was metal but maybe plastic is better. See my picture for my solution, lol! Its just in my bedroom so I don't care that it looks stupid lol.
