Conair EZ Press 800 Watt Handheld Steam Iron DPP143

Recently purchased this lightweight, compact iron because with RA, I could no longer handle the larger, heavier iron comfortably and it was causing me pain. Just returned from a trip where I decided to bring this new compact iron to steam any clothing wrinkled from packing. Just about everyone on the trip ended up using it at least once and complimented me on its performance. I do highly recommend this product to everyone.

This iron is a good as the big expensive full size irons and is 1/2 the weight and size and is priced much less. In so ways is better, as it can iron in areas hard to get to with a large iron.

it was the right size for my mother's hand, plus it wasn't heavy enough to lift the iron up while she doing her sewing stuff

I used it the same day I got it and it was great. It heated up immediately and I thought was great for the price. Also the compact size was better than I expected. The pretty blue color was a hit too. I think this one is better than the full size irons I have owned before. Totally recommend this one.

I LOVE this iron because it is small and compact. I only iron a few things and leave the mass ironing work to my steamer. My friends who have used this at my house have always commented on how small it is. So obviously surface area matters. As this is small it takes longer to iron. But it works great for my small application usage!!

Much to my surprise, this little iron is working out just perfect. Im impressed how quickly it heats up. Heats to a great temp. The steam feature was also a surprise as it is quite powerful. I tried it to steam a hanging shirt and even that worked great. It is small and a very light weight iron. Definatly impressed and would definatly recommend. Worth every penny. If something happens to this one in the future.. I will absolutely replace with exact same one. Oh and it doesnt hold a whole lot of water BUT, I do plenty enuff ironing at a time and only ever had to put more water once. Remember to empty after each use. best for storage. Buy it , you will be glad you did .

I don't put water in my irons any more due to problems through the years. I now use a micronized mist bottle of water instead. The heat on high is not as high as with full size irons, but with starch or water, it works out. I mainly use the iron for my quilting fabric, as I typically try to hang garments to finish drying instead of ironing.

I really like the small size. It is convenient for my quilt piecing. However, it does not get hot enough to iron cottons without steam. I do not put water in my irons due to previous bad experiences. If it got hotter, I would give it a 5.

I needed a very lightweight iron because of severe arthritis. This iron is much easier for me to use than my previous iron.

This is a small iron. I've used it very little so far. It doesn't glide smoothy; there's a "drag" feeling to it. It's better than not having an iron, but I don't like the "drag" feeling.
