Well, another high quality low cost item! Delivery was on time. The cables were easy to install, and the brakes are working perfectly. I'm about to reorder.

The Concord Bike Replacement Brake Gear Cable Set is a great set to keep on-hand for redoing brake cables and/or gear cables as-needed. It comes with compression housing, and is index shifter compatible for braking and multi-speed shifting. Includes 2 brake cables + 2 gear cables with housing and ferrules. It has mostly everything you need, except tools and lubricant. My bike was due, the photos show a bike in-need indeed :-) The price is great, can keep a couple on-hand to use as-needed. I highly recommend 👍🏼

I have never done much repair work on bicycles before so I was a little intimidated when they needed replaced. I have been trying to save money and do more myself. When I got this, I read over the instructions and it actually didn't sound too hard. I was surprised at how simple it was. I will definitely be replacing the cables on my other bicycles soon because this one is riding so much better.

These cables rate 5 for value. There are better cables available, but cost considerably more hence a lower rating on quality, however they are working as intended and would buy them again. Keep in mind, installing cables looks easier than it is in many cases.

Nice quality - one shorter, thinner set and one longer, thicker set (road and mt bike?). The longer set is just long enough for an e bike. But if the ends get frayed then they have to ge replaced since there isnt enough slack left. I'd prefer buying either a set or two sets for either a road or mt bike not a set for each because I've ended up paying for cables I dont need.

Needed new brake cables for an 18" bike that just wouldn't brake properly. The CONCORD replacement cables are heavy duty compared to what was on the bike. The set includes clear instructions on the back of the package, but they also included a more detailed instruction sheet inside the package. Overall, this is a great value for the money. It includes 2 brake cables, 2 gear cables along with the caps and ferrules for the ends of the housings.

1. Only received 3 cables, not 4. I'm guessing some cheapskate stole one at the store before it was delivered to me. Too much hassle to return and buy again since I wanted to fix my bike. 2. The cables are different sizes. It could certainly be clearer in the description what they are sending. 3. The end clamps are inside the rectangular box (one reviewer said that they are not included, but you have to open up the box to find them). 4. Cable quality seems decent.

I'm not very experienced with bicycle brake cables, and I thought they were all standardized. Apparently I'm wrong, as these do not fit my bike's brake handle. Upon researching brake cables, I realized that these are not meant for the common road bicycle you most likely have. They are designed for racing and/or stunt bikes.

What bike are these supposed to fit neither one comes close to where they need to be and they don't have the length posted on the items page so you got a buy it and hope it fits. They are garbage cheaply made don't waste your money. These are garbage will never buy again!!!!

i am disappointed as I searched specifically searched for a replacement brake cable for my Ninebot G Max 30 scooter and this was recommended so i ordered itit is not compatible as it is made for bicycles and definitely not starting enough. I've learned something new and that is to do my research before outfitting new accessories. The quality looks great and I'm sure it's perfect for bikes but it's a little thin compared to the one that was on my scooter. oh well. it also came with 3 different lengths\types.
