Works as expected!
Ordered this to be placed under a new hybrid mattress going onto a platform bed. Wasn't happy with delivery since box was thrown on lawn and got torn open. Unfortunately we didn't realize until 10 days later when needing it, that the bunkie board itself had a hole in it. We used it anyway since we had no choice by then.
Bunkie boards works great on my 18 inch metal bed frame i also got from walmart. I had slats i got from walmart and it slides over metal bed frame out of place but kepted it for back up since i got bunkie boards. I got it because my metal bedframe and layla bybrid mattress is already high enough but the new bunkie boards of 1.5 inch thick works to the right level in height to 32.5 inch from floor! I needed the bunkie boards and slats also because the metal bed frame will tear my layla hybrid mattress!
If you have a platform bed with a memory foam mattress (and a box spring is too big) then look no further! My mattress doesn't sink between the slats anymore and I sleep so much better. It levels everything out with about 2inch extra height (rather than a huge box spring). Can't recommend this enough!
Great for a twin bed if you don't need a box spring. Helps keep sheets from being pulled off the bed when you roll over during the night. Really love it
Had a daybed with a box spring and mattress. Elevated bed too high. Got this and it makes getting into and out of the bed so much easy. Didnt want to make the change but glad I did.
Loved how they were split- made putting them in easier - decent quality for price- felt sturdy under mattress- better than boards alone
Purchased for a twin bed. Lightweight and easy to use. Have yet to sleep on it but so far seems sturdy. Was confused which way to lay bunkie board (whether to keep wood slats horizontally or diagonally) since it two pieces and fits any way you lie it down
Similar products available for lower cost. Product description did not disclose that it would be a low profile wood frame not a solid 1 1/2 inch board.
I basically received a low profile box spring One large piece. Doesn't fold. Doesn't look like the picture.
