Nice heavy base . Doesn't slide around on the counter. Blades are sharp and comfortable to hold.

Quality Knives at a Value Price
These knives are sturdy and SHARP. They are well made. the steel of the knife runs all the way through the handle and it is triple riveted. They are weighted nicely and the wooden block keeps them safe on my counter. They came out of the box SHARP. I was so used to using flimsy dull knives that I wound up cutting myself, twice. I recommend them to anyone wanting quality knives at a value price. My only complaint was the amount of time it took them to get delivered.
