I really liked this vanilla powder. It was better than using extract in my homemade candy. You use half the amount of this powder than the extract. It tastes really good and I would give it 5 stars!

Good quality and good price

I'm very pleased with Cook's. I plan to use it in place of liquid vanilla but so far I have only added it to my coffee. It was great. I would have preferred a 100% vanilla but the added dextrose may have been necessary to prevent caking. It also makes the powder sweet. Since dextrose is listed first I am guessing it has more of it than it has vanilla bean. This is the only reason I did not give 5 stars.

It adds flavor to baked items and the product lasts a while for the money that's paid also there's no alcohol in it

This item is supposed to be "Pure Vanilla Powder", but it is Dextrose and Vanilla, and it tastes like it's 80 to 90 percent dextrose. You can barely taste the vanilla at all. I used to buy actual pure vanilla, no additives or preservatives, it has a very strong flavor. If they say this is pure, I'd only believe them if they said it was pure crap. DO NOT BUY! Also, the seal on the top was halfway open. My girlfriend said, "This is Walmart?"
