I started wearing compression socks regularly around twenty years ago due to a medical condition that causes swelling in my legs below my knees. My ankles also suffer from a bad arthritic diagnosis. I am 100% certain that due to my wearing compression socks regularly that I've avoided complications that have occurred to other people I've encountered. These compression socks are easy to put on, and maintain compression well. *ProTips* I wear them under my regular socks, and wearing boots out helps support my damaged ankles. Wash them inside-out in a lingerie bag, and dry them on a hanger, and they'll last you longer!
Seem true to size, but I have injured my hand years ago in an accident and have a hard time getting them on my feet due to pain and weakness in that hand, so I don't wear them much. They are pretty, great once you get them on the foot though, except a little tight at the knee. Really do help the neuropathy surprisingly a lot, so I would definitely recommend for others.
Wore the socks for a long busy day that consisted of travel by car waiting at a several appoints , shopping for groceries ,and eat a snack in the car. Arrived home after a 9 to 10 n hour day . Legs and feet felt comfortable . I have been wearing sup hose for many years and used several different brands and now this will be my go to brand!
Had neck surgery and I've been sleeping in a recliner for quite a while. Right leg started swelling noticeably and the left leg was swelling just a bit. GF was a nurse and recommended getting a pair of these and after 4 or 5 nights of wearing these, they've made a big difference. Well worth the money to save a doctor visit.
These are not 20-30mmhg or even 30-40mmhg like the "ask sparky" thing states. These are only 10-20mmhg which is a big difference in compression. I purchased my first pair months back that were 20-30mmhg and i loved them, then went to my order history and purchased again and received a pair that clearly states on the box 10-20mmhg, which I wouldn't have bought if that was the case. Im not returning because i already wore them but i could tell within 2 hours they were not tight enough due to pain and swelling that happened. I do love this brand, but please update these listings with correct information, or just information regardless as ive noticed they dont state anywhere what the compression is anymore. The sparky question guide is always wrong it seems. This information needs to be stated clearly on the description, specifications, images, somewhere so people know they are getting the correct compression they need.
I recently traveled with layovers, was on three different planes and was traveling for 15 hrs. No swelling at all occurred in my feet, ankles and calves. I would normally get a wide calf option and the L/XL size fit fine. While on vacation I had swelling in my legs due to the humidity and heat and wearing these socks overnight helped the swelling go down. highly recommend!
I've never tried compression socks but found I had swollen legs and feet after a long weekend on my feet. These were available nearby so I tried them and couldn't be more happy. The XL fit my large calf muscles and were more comfortable than I expected. My swelling improved after only my first day of wearing them for about 10 hours. After a few days of daytime wear, my swelling was gone. (Note: I'm only prone to edema on occasion. I can't speak to how well they work for someone with regular edema.)
It didn't work as intended for me. We purchased these to wear during a 10-hour flight but my feet were still swollen as if I didn't wear compression socks. It is tight at the elastic and the bottom of the feet is very fin. Maybe it is not for everyone. I don't recommend.
There is no Compression what so ever nor is there any Copper in these socks! I used to purchase the “TOMMIE COPPER” Compression socks, and these are nothing compared to those. They were the absolute BEST compression socks I've ever bought. PLEASE bring them back!!!
Way too small/tight for swollen legs %26 feet. My legs are normally very thin but now are swollen due to cvi. These were an xl and I couldn't even get one on! Not even close. The quality seems excellent and I'm sure they help but order numerous sizes up. And better have help
