It contains 24% zinc oxide. In the olden days life guards would wear it on their noses for ultra protection against the sun's rays. Back then it actually was white! This is the ultimate protection. You can tell when it has worn off (and sun protection does Moms!) because you will not see the opaque white-ish film. Other brands go on clear and you have no idea whether they are still on your baby or not! I bought this for myself because I was in an accident and had to be careful with a scar. I always knew when to reapply. Great stuff.Highest concentration of zinc oxide I have found yet. Letting your little guys burn is a no-no!!!
White at first, but it soaks in and looks fine to me. I put it on about 5 minutes before I start my makeup.
I love this formula so much. I was worried because of other reviews but it blended in perfectly and didn't irritate my sensitive skin. I didn't find it to leave a white cast but I do have very fair skin. It wasn't greasy or drying but instead left my skin perfectly moisturized and satin smooth. I love that it's fragrance free and doesn't have octinoxate or octocrylene like other sunscreens. The only downside was the packaging. I like how liquidy the formula is but it does get messy if the bottle is on it's side so realistically I can't take it in my purse or it'll get everywhere. So reapplying while going about my day is gonna be a little bit of a challenge. I will never stop wearing this sunscreen!!!
This is the cheapest mineral sunscreen on the market. It is thinner than other mineral ones so you need to be prompt about reapplying (other mineral sunscreens seem to last longer than the 80 mins). Overall it was great. Easier to spread and I did not burn!
This Lotion provides great protection but it is a bit runny and greasy. I was not expecting that as it is mineral based and zinc oxide is usually quite thick. No sunburns so I cant really complain.
Love that its better for you, however, it needs reapplied every 30 min
I like that this is a natural, mineral sunscreen with high spf- the consistency is really runny, but also thick (like chocolate syrup?) it take a minute to run in evenly because of this, and take a moment to blend in the white cast. Once it is done though, it is undetectable on my fair skin. Truly unscented which is awesome, but takes quite a while to completely absorb and get rid of the SLIGHTLY greasy feel. It does feel pretty moisturizing once absorbed though. Overall a good sunscreen- especially for body for sure. For face, maybe if it wasn't super thick.
THE FORMULA IS THE SAME IN EVERY PRODUCT WITHIN THE PURE AND SIMPLE RANGE. I have been purchasing the FACE branded spf in the 2 oz tube for about a year. Great inexpensive physical sunscreen. Doesnt clog my pores or dry out my already dry skin. Anyways, the FACE sunscreen has been out of stock at all my local stores for a couple of weeks so I decided to look at the ADULT or body version to see how different the ingredients were. Exactly the same, same exact order!! So I checked the BABY. Same! Then the KIDS. Same! The only one that is different is the baby stick version and thats because its not a cream. Save yourself some money and buy the cheapest one at any particular time. I would include more photos but it will only allow two. ***Would NOT recommended for deep/dark skin tones. This will leave a white cast for the first half hour. After that it will sink in, but it will be noticeable until it does.
This went on very white, so I will be returning it.
I've tried this sunscreen for a few days and the product has been very unblendable and leaves a white cast on my fair skin. And the worst overall is it left the blemishes on my face to appear even more red and inflamed as well as there being pimples on my face. I was recommended this by a dermatologist on youtube and I'm beyond displeased by. this product. I cant find any sunscreens that will work for my skin and i dont understand why they never work. Do you guys have any recommendations on sunscreens for my acne prone, sensitive, oily skin.
