Coppertone Sport Mineral Spray Sunscreen SPF 50, 5oz

I chose this sunscreen because it only has Zinc in the ingredient list and I am trying healthier choices for my children. You do have to rub it in but it works great %26 the boys say it's not as cold as the other spray sunscreen.

I'm allergic to the chemicals in most sun protection products, so mineral sunscreens are the only SPF products I can use. Coppertone has been my go-to brand since I developed my SPF chemicals allergy. The spray is especially effective and easy to apply. Typically, the only reason I ever get too much sun is because I have failed to apply the Coppertone on a particular spot. This product is terrific! I will recommend it for everyone. It's also safe for waterways…especially the reef areas.

My favorite sunscreen. I swam laps 3 times a week all summer and never for a sunscreen. Doesn't feel greasy like a lot of sunscreens, and has a pleasant smell

ITs really awesome sunburn, and it is true to staying full coverage while in water, and sweat. It really is a great sunblock.

I really like Coppertone SPORT Mineral Sunscreen. I've been switching to mineral sunscreens to save marine life and stop applying the chemical version to my own skin. Who knows what the long term effects might be. I had mild melanoma over 20 years ago, so I am pretty careful about applying sunscreen whenever I go outdoors. I have very little hair on my head and I cut what is there, very short. Though I wear hats, I always cover my head with sunscreen for those times when my hat is off. Spray sunscreen is by far the best way to cover my head, ears and the back of my neck. I hold my breath, spray my head and walk forward out of the fumes before I breathe again. I use the tube version on my face arms and legs, but I love the spray for my head and neck.

Very very white spray.. I know mineral sunscreen leaves a strong white cast and they should put something in it to stop that and they can do it but it works well and just rub it in and keep rubbing and keep rubbing

Product last a good amount of time, and gives good protection. I use it on my face and bald head, and it's better than most at not stinging if sweat runs in your eyes. If this was a cream (and therefore more reasonable in price) I would give 5 stars. But it's an aerosol. An aerosol that must be rubbed in. That makes no sense. The whole point of a spray, is you don't have to rub it on.

smells bad, but works well

I put this product on and it was difficult. So thick it was difficult to rub in. I reapplied. Used a different sunscreen on my face that I did not reapply. Came home with the worst burn of my life except on my face. Yet I was literally having to scrub the sunscreen off because you could still see it and feel it. Giving one star because it's the minimum.

I took my kids swimming at a local pool. We were there for three hours. I applied sunscreen to all of us multiple times while there. All three of us got absolutely burned! We may as well have not used any sunscreen at all. We were covered in residue from the sunscreen but it did nothing to protect us.
