Excellent quality value level fly line!
This is a great quality for a value line. I love the compact 30 foot head. I actually prefer not spending money extra for the looped ends that I'm just going to cut off. In my humble opinion, a leader connected with a Nail Knot is more wind resistant, and transfers energy more efficiently. With a Tippet Ring on the end of the leader, I find the life of the line and leader are about the same. Even if you do have to replace the leader, you're only cutting off about 1/4 inch of you fly line head (each time).

In my opinion is the best fly fishing line it floats very strong line. The only thing I ever use.

Is an ok fly line. I prefer a bass bug taper. this weight forward works with my heavy buys but casting smaller cork poppers is a bit challenging

Good Flyline
I have used much more expensive flylines and the Cortland is a good line at a good price. It is inexpensive and I can afford to change at least once a year and have more cash left over for other extras.
