When I first got this cotton candy maker I thought it would come with different sugars but it didn't,so I used regular sugar which worked fine just wasn't as cool looking. I got some colored sugar and it was so much fun my kids took it away from me. They were already eating it fast as I could make the machine produce cotton candy. It takes a little bit to warm up but then it makes cotton candy quicker. This machine is easy to clean and goes back in its box for easy storage.

Who doesn't like cotton candy?! This is a fun activity for the whole family and would be great for sleep overs! It is very easy to set and get going. Takes about 5mins to warm up and you pour the sugar in and you can start to see the strands forming. We purchased extra flavored sugar because it doesn't come with any but you can use regular sugar as well. I would only use a little at a time to not clog it up and make sure to clean it out after each use. The kids loved it and had lots of fun.

My children loved the Cra-Z-Art Real Cotton Candy Maker. It was my son’s fifth birthday and he could not wait to open this. I wanted to wait until his party but we decided to try it out beforehand. I am very glad we did! We did not know that this does not come with the colors needed to make different flavors or cotton candy. I feel that should be posted all over the box. I did end up finally finding that in small print on the instruction manual. It was easy to set up and get started. You only need a little bit of sugar and some excited children. Clean up was just as simple too. The children still wanted to try it so we just used regular sugar and it worked really well. I went out the next day and grabbed the colors and extra cotton candy stick holders for our party. It was a huge hit! It works well and the cotton candy was delicious. All the children loved making their own cotton candy! Overall, the cotton candy machine was a huge hit and a great addition to a fun party. I do feel they need to disclose the missing color packets somewhere on the packaging though.

This cotton candy maker is easy and fun to use. You just plug it in, wait for the light to turn green, and slowly pour sugar into the top. It instantly makes cotton candy! We didn't have any of the flavored cotton candy sugar but we used regular white granulated sugar and it still did the job. Right after you pour the sugar in slowly you see the sugar cotton webbing forming around the bowl. You just stick the paper cone in and twist the cotton candy around it. Each spoon full of sugar you use makes a small amount of cotton candy(see photo). Just enough for a little one to enjoy a few tasty bites.

Over all we had fun trying to make cotton candy, however it sure was full of obstacles. I feel that the cotton candy made by this thing was a bit crunchy due to the fact that the sugar didn’t melt completely all the time. The sugar needed to be feed in very slow in order for the motor to not be overwhelmed my the amount of sugar. Regardless it still did clog a bit. The box showed fun colors and big fluffy balls of cotton candy which we could not really achieve with this. I would not pay full price for this. The box has a statement about it being great for parties. Yes maybe so, for a party of one. Lol! It was fun to play around with it like a science experiment! Don’t expect too much from it and you will love it. Your kids will love it too I bet. My little one did the older like me expected what the box said.

I will not recommend this to anyone now let me tell you why, the reason is the machine is very slow and it clogs and if it clogs you out luck because you will need to wash it with water and if you want to use it right away you need a blower to dry it otherwise it will get clogged again so this machine I believe it’s more a toy than a real cotton candy maker also the portion that it creates its very small probably 8 to 10 portions of this machine will be what you can get from a small retail cotton candy ready bag, it’s to much work for to little cotton candy it just doesn’t make sense even my kids said the machine looks like a toy but it definitely make cotton candy but I rather buy a bag than dealing with this machine because it clogs and clogs very easy and makes to little cotton candy to enjoy, so that said you by now can make you own judgement, hope that help.

Had a really hard time getting the lid to stay on. It kept falling off. A little scotch tape to hold it together and we are making cotton candy. Or so I thought. After 5 min it made a very small amount of it. The red light comes on. I'm thinking O.K. . It's like my sandwich press. It cooled off a little and now it's reheating. Not the case. It starts to make a grinding sound and had the smell of burning electrical components. Not cool....... It say's to add the sugar slowly. And I did. Almost a grain at a time. So that's not it.

This cotton candy maker is awful but let me start with the positive. It was very easy to disassemble to do an initial cleaning. When you first clean it, allow 24 hours to dry completely. Reassembling was easy also. Now, the directions say to put one scoop of sugar but that barely made anything. We had to keep adding more and more sugar to get the "3 inch" cotton candy on the stick. The cotton candy started sticking to the side walls and it was messy. The box shows that you can make cotton candy in colors but that is false. There is nothing that comes with the maker that allows you to make it colored. The instructional video is just a visual of the paper instructions. My husband tried putting Kool-Aid in the center part to get the colored cotton candy. We had to add sugar along with the Kool-Aid. It was so sour; I don't recommend doing that. I would not recommend this product. It would be easier and less stressful for you to just go to the store and buy premade cotton candy.

Highly disappointed. I was so looking forward to using this machine. Although the directions seemed easy and I included it, I used their QR code which didn't work, and YouTube the video amd it still did not work. I tried for over 30 mins and made sure I followed directions. Still nothing. Matter of fact no matter how slow I added the sugar, it literally flew out the bowl. The machine kept shutting off while the sugar should have been heating. Directions followed to the T yet still didn't work. I would not recommend it. I wanted to take a pic of final product but couldn't get it to even spin.
