Great introduction to the world of home brew. I appreciate the clear instructions and not cheaping out on the carboy nor airlock especially because I'd like to use this kit more than once. All the packets are clearly labeled and the instructions are redundant, so it's difficult to make a mistake if you're paying attention. Yes, it's possible buy the component parts individually for cheaper, but it's nice having a full kit particularly if you're not sure what you need in advance. My main critique is that the instructions suggest that the mead will be semi-dry. I disagree strongly because there's nothing to stop total fermentation of all the sugar. Instead, you should expect a dry result. If you actually want some sweetness, you're going to want stabilizer which is not included with this kit. Overall, I recommend this kit because it does what it sets out to do with no major shortcomings.

Everything was packaged well. The directions were straightforward and in three weeks I should have my first batch of mead. I have ordered a second to set aside for six months. Amazon was going to take two weeks to get it to me and Walmart was able to next day.

Everything you need to make a gallon of mead except the honey and that is your choice in what kind of honey to use. I used orange blossom and it is easy to use. Great starter kit and looking good on my counter

Comes with everything you need except the honey. For the price it's a great deal, maybe in the future offer a package that includes an auto siphon just to make life a bit easier for new users

Bought as a Christmas gift so can't comment on quality but presentation is very suave and fancy. Packaging on the shipping was super sturdy and fast.

Good for the price the neck of the bottle is a little hard to clean but with a baby bottle brush it's not hard

I really like this kit. The only thing I did not like was the opening being so small. I put frozen cut up strawberries in the jaw and it was a struggle because the opening was so small. I loved everything else about the kit including the YouTube video showing step by step how to use the kit.

It won't quite yield a gallon of product, because you're not supposed to fill it too full. Other than that, no issues seen so far.

did not include the racking cane with tip , no hose clamp and no airlock with stopper.i do not recommend trying this product.
