When I saw these scissors, I immediately thought they were just another pair that would open my packages and cut up a chicken or 2. I was so wrong! These are a kitchen marvel. I am older so sometimes jars just will not open for me, especially those new plastic jars but these scissors (see the big circle in my photo) you can clamp around the lid and turn easily. There is a built in bottle opener that also works with jelly type jar lids (small circle) and the best thing is the pry tool at the top of the finger hole which is perfect for opening my cat food cans or a soda. This is by far the best quality kitchen tool I have ever gotten and I love it! Oh, and did I mention the it comes apart for cleaning and has a serrated blade to cut through bone, well it does that and to be honest,I am finding new ways to use this tool daily. This also is made of steel, even the handles are made of a high grade polymer, nothing cheap about this product at all. Best deal ever!
These shears are awesome!!! They are solid stainless steel blades and have a bottle opener, can pull tab lifter and gripper in the handles that can help open smaller bottles. The shears come apart which makes it easy to hand wash and thoroughly dry. Super sharp! These are a necessary component for every kitchen. Love these!!!
I absolutely love these kitchen shears. They are very sharp and well made. I can use them on everything in the kitchen. I also like the fact that there is a bottle opener built into these as well. I use the inside of the shears to help me open jars. I have arthritis so this is big deal for me. I highly recommend these for anyone who has problems with opening jars. They cut without any diffulty at all.
These babies are tough and rugged. What a wonderful addition to my kitchen cutlery drawer. They respond beautifully to cutting chicken wing tips off and cutting open a bag with simplicity. I'm shocked how useful and handy they are. Didn't know how much i needed them until I got em. Wow sure am glad I did.
These scissors are heavy-duty and well-made. I didn't think so at first because when I opened them a little wider to open a package with them, they came apart! Well, I finally realized that the little "hinge" in the center is meant to do that. I then just used one of the sides of the scissors as a knife to finish opening the package. It also has a pull-tab pry tool (which is *meh*. It's a little thick to slip under catfood, dogfood or canned fruit tabs so I don't know how it will work with soda cans. Not a critical point for me, though). I love that it's a multi-tool. It has jaws in the center for gripping hard-to-unscrew caps, a bottle cap remover and a serrated edge for when you need a little more than a razor to open something. The scissors will come apart if you open them too wide but for normal cutting and other uses, you'll likely never experience that. They go back together very easily, too. I think this would make a great gift as part of a related gift basket - maybe for the first-time home-owner.
I love these kitchen scissors. They not only cut, but they also can open bottles, jars, soda tabs, and more. They are very sharp. The scissors have a little weight to them, but not bad. They are very versatile. Want to get another pair to keep in the garage. These are the best.
If there is one item I use almost on a daily basis, it would be my kitchen shears. Craft Kitchen shears are very versatile. You can cut meat, herbs and even open packages with this pair of kitchen shears. Craft Kitchen has even added a bottle opener and can pull-tab lifter which I haven't seen with other kitchen shears. The bottle opener can also be used to crack nuts or the shells on crab legs. The shears have a good sturdy feel to them and the blades are made from stainless steel so they will last a long time. The shears also have a comfortable grip so if I am using them for a long period of time, my hand doesn't get fatigued as fast as others I have tried. This pair of Craft Kitchen shears also comes apart making cleaning so much easier than traditional shears. I always hand wash my kitchen shears and Craft Kitchen does recommend that for this set. They also have a lifetime warranty for peace of mind.
The Craft Kitchen Shears has a lifetime warranty. It has stainless steel blades for long lasting durability, includes bottle opener and can pull tab lifter. It is recommended to hand wash. They fit comfortably in my hand . I would recommend these to others.
Heavy duty materials and comfortable soft grips. It comes apart for easy cleaning and eventual sharpening. The flat screwdriver only sticks out a bit, so it's probably best for just saving fingernails on a can. The fish scaler is pretty unique, so a pair of these in a tacklebox is a good idea.
This set of kitchen shears is more than meets the eye. You get your shears, a bottle opener, an herb stripper and another blade reminiscent of a screwdriver on the handle. The placement of that is a little weird but doesn't seem to be in the way. The blades easily come apart for thurought cleaning. These shears are quite heavy, they are obviously a quality kitchen tool but the weight is a little bit off-putting. Functionally, I love these, I just wish they were a bit lighter.
