As soon as we got this set, my son could not wait to make rocks for everybody! What I liked was how easy to use it is. The colors are great, the quality is great and fast drying. He loves the “tattoos” he can add. The good ones were his favorite. So far he has made five and all different. I just love how easy the paint comes on and how quick it dries. It also helps my son be totally creative and feel like he can make anything. We love it!

The Creativity for Kids Hide & Seek Rock Painting Kit is great for some family time project. The kit mainly has for one person to paint but if you add a paint brush for additional people the paint is enough for all the rocks included in the kit. The paint goes on smooth and dries quick. It has a shine to it when it dries so test it before you put another coat on or it will smear it into clumps of paint. Always wash the rocks first and dry them, paper towels and cover the floor/ carpet cause it does stain. The kids enjoyed the kit and now they have a new hobby painting rocks. Love that it comes with stickers to put on rocks after it's painted.

A few months ago I was visiting Del Mar, California. As a walked along the promenade and parks I kept stumbling upon hand painted rocks of various shapes, colors and sizes. Some contained words like "hope", "faith", and "love". Others were little creatures or smiley faces. I had never seen such simple items of absolute delight. I later discovered that these little painted rocks were not exclusive to Del Mar. I then discovered that while you can spend time searching for the perfect rocks or looking to purchase paints. There is actually a kit you can purchase! There is the Hide & Seek Rock Painting Kit. This fabulous kit contains rocks, paint, two brushes, a sponge to get you started. You can now paint, decorate and hide rocks in your own community. This is great fun for adults and kids.

This Hide and Seek Rock Painting Kit was a blast to play with and comes with everything you need. The kids were so excited to get started and didn't want to stop. They loved everything about the kit. Sometimes they participate in the rock hiding challenge so this kit was just perfect for that. The transfer designs that come with it are really fun to use. The paint dries fairly quickly. The paint will wash off your hands with soap and water but it will stain clothes. Once dry the paint is permanent and weather proof. The paint is a nice thicker texture with vibrant colors. You get 8 paint colors. White, purple, yellow, orange, blue, green, black and pink. The two brushes are soft bristles so they cover really well. You get 10 river rocks which vary in size and shape. The only problem I had is once you break the seal on each paint cup, you can't get them to seal tight again. They shut but it's not tight so you have to be careful with them. I put a small rubber band around each cup to try to keep them shut tighter and so far it's working. I highly recommend this Rock Painting Kit for anyone, kids or adults, that like to paint rocks.

These rocks are the funniest things to watch kids and even adults, friends find them . You can paint and design whatever you want on them. Just hide them watch the kids running around looking for them . They have so much fun hunting and searching for them. They are amazing.

The Creativity for Kids Hide and Seek Rock Painting Kit is actually a great activity for you and your child. It comes with everything you need to paint and decorate 10 river rocks. The rocks vary in size, shape and color. There are 2 paint brushes, a sponge, 8 bright paint colors, 30 transfer designs, 4 gold transfers, and tracking stickers. You will need to rinse and then let the rocks dry thoroughly before you paint. The paint color is a little transparent especially with the lighter colors, so once you choose the design for the rock, you might need to apply more than one coat. Just make sure to let it dry in between coats. It will help if you apply a coat of white paint first and then start your design.:). Once the rock is painted and dry, you can then apply the transfer. This is just like applying those temporary tattoos.:). This is such a cute activity. You can use permanent markers to accent or draw your own designs. Since my 11yo son is into Minecraft and Fortnite, he decided to make his own designs. What is really cool about this set is that the tracking stickers can be applied to the back of the rocks and then placed around your community. You can post pictures of your rock designs online. Whether you keep all your rocks or decide to share them with others, they are great ways to add a little cheer or sunshine to any day.:). Very cute activity. The kids absolutely loved painting these rocks and the best way of painting them. It kept them busy on a cold rainy day. I also like the kids having creative things to do instead of video games or tablets. So many options and so many different rocks. The tattoos were super easy to put on the rocks and still plenty left over to paint and tattoo more rocks.

I received the Creativity for Kids Hide & Seek Rock Painting Kit for free through the Walmart Spark Review Program. I was very excited to see this product available to choose to try and review. Now I know that most people paint and hide these rocks all over the place and that there are even websites that you can post pictures of them and rehide for the next person. But, I have been saying for years that I am making a painted steppingstone garden in a small dirt patch in front of my house for years now. This section in front of my house used to have plants but because of it’s location everyone kept stepping on and hitting my plants, so I accepted the inevitable and this project will be awesome when it’s done. This kit is my first step in making that a reality. I am the grandmother of 3 (yes, they all live with me) and this is a great craft idea to make them feel special every time them come into the house. I know this steppingstone garden will probably take a few years (and a whole bunch more stones) to complete but this is a great start to a fun project. This kit contains 10 small rocks (from 1” to 2 1/2 “) natural river rocks (that were disappointingly not flat or smooth), water-resistant paint (that was very thin and 2 coats needed to paint rocks) , 2 brushes (1 thin and the other flat), a triangular sponge, and over 30 waterproof transfer designs and 4 gold metallic transfers as bonus embellishments. I also recommend putting a coat of sealant on these stones to keep them looking freshly painted for years to come.

This is a cute kit for kids (box says ages 6 and up). It contained 10 small (for the most part smooth) rocks, 8 “weather-resistant” paint colors, 30 transfer designs, 4 gold design transfers, tracking stickers (the social media hashtag for all 4 major social media platforms), 2 paint brushes, a transfer sponge and the instructions. The instructions are clearly explained with some pictures for visual help. This set is cute for a self-contained activity with some children. The instructions advise of this, but you’ll want to wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty in case of exposure to the paint. You’ll also want to cover your work surface with newspaper and have paper towels handy. You’ll need a cup of water (I recommend warm water to help get the paint off easier). The paint spreads onto the rocks nicely and dries pretty fast! I am thankful for that because kids can get impatient waiting for things to dry. While they are waiting for one rock to set before adding another layer of paint or continue decorating they can start painting another rock. The instructions say to wash and dry the rocks before beginning. They have a white dust on them so I recommend washing in warm water and drying them in the oven at about 350 degrees for 5 minutes on each side. Not only do they dry thoroughly quickly but they feel nice and warm. Obviously, that is not done without adult help and supervision! I also recommend applying a thin layer of petroleum jelly on your hands before painting or wearing some disposable gloves when painting. The petroleum jelly just makes it easier for the paint to come off your hands. Also, regarding the transfers, I recommend holding them down while wet for at least 3 minutes before trying to lift it up.
