Crockpot 7-Quart Slow Cooker, Manual, Stainless Steel

AZ summers and using the oven don't mix. My kitchen becomes a sauna. Crock-Pot has always been a reliable and delicious way to cook, but absolutely essential to me at this time of year. I was so excited to purchase this beauty yesterday! My old one had finally given out after years of use, so I bought a similar model. Tonight we're having a pot roast, something we love, but certainly something I couldn't cook for hours in the oven! As always, I know that I'll be really pleased with the results. Crock Pot has always been dependable, quality cookware that never disappoints. Low and slow, I'm getting great steam and looking forward to an enjoyable summer of meals with my new crockpot...in a cool kitchen!

We went for the 7 qt. if I'm going to cook I want to make a lot of good food. We're so glad to have purchased this product. First thing I did was to heat water on "low setting" and learn the temps than I shut it off, let it cool down, then went to the "high setting." Last week I cooked a 6 lb. beef pot roast, carrots, potatoes, etc. following the enclosed suggestions. Ran it for 5-6 hours...came out awesome and soooo tender. Got 5-stars for that. New Years Eve, we did a 13 lb. turkey. I took the skin off, carved the breast off, separated the sections and laid it in the pot with all the seasons....was awesome...parts fell from the bones....another 5-stars. Best thing I bought for the kitchen and me!

Have used a Crock Pot for over 25 yrs. I finally had to replace mine because the handle on the cover broke and I could not find a replacement cover to fit it. The crock pot still works great, but wanted one with a cover on it. I love the different sizes Crock Pot offers. I also have their mini one and use it often too. Would highly recommend them to everyone!!!

I've had this crock pot for two weeks and I have made three meals that turned out perfectly...I love the simple operating system...I'm just in love with my crock pot...I can't wait to try baking in the crock pot...there are a couple of desserts I saw in the crock pot recipe booklet that I have to try...thank you crock pot...I'm in love

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been working on my cooking skills for some years now and slowly getting more comfortable with new recipes, cooking sets, etc. for some reason i have always been scared to use a crockpot. I can't believe i was ever scared it has made my life soo much easier instead of using 5 different pots to cook im able to cook my meat, veggies, potatoes, carbs etc all at the same time. I was able to try out a new chicken recipe that made the skin fall Off the bones. It's also incredibly easy to clean. As a busy mom this crockpot has been a game changer.

My Sunbeam Crockpot arrived earlier than estimated, which was good. However it was shipped in the same box you would purchase it in at the store, so it arrived with a small dent. I would think it would be shipped with a little better packaging. I've only used it once to cook a whole chicken and some vegetables, it did seem to cook at a higher temperature, even when on low. I did only have about 2-3 inches of liquid in the bottom, which boiled no matter what temperature I had the unit set at. I was happy with how the meal turned out, but I will probably make sure the crockpot is fuller the next time and see if that makes a difference with the liquid staying at a boil.

I want to return it for it got so HOT on the outside that I burned my arm. The one that I had a while ago, the outside did not get that hot!

Not happy with this product ! I bought it this year for Black Friday and decided to use it tonight because we want to chili and the aroma a burnt plastic filled my house I went into the kitchen and the whole side of my brand new never used crockpot was completely dented in!!do not recommend this So now I'm without a crockpot and without my dinner thanks a lot

I was so excited about my crockpot. I take it out of box and put the lid on it and the lid doesn't fit the crockpot. I have huge gaps on the side and it doesn't lay flat on the crockpot. Im disappointed that the crockpot doesn't keep the heat inside because it's not sealing. My crockpot is damaged and thats very disappointing.

So hot it actually burns your skin if you touch the outside while on low setting. Dangerous. Too lightweight. Hate it and already three box away so stuck with it.
