Crosman Optic Intermount, 4 Pc 459MTC

I mounted my bsa laser with these mounts. You probably only need one to mount laser but I used both. Sighted the laser in and it has been rock solid in place. Think there is two in the pack to mount a scope. The mounts lock tight onto the barrel with an allen screw which is included in the pack.

I used free to store shipping and it took about 10 days to arrive. Boat must have been really slow!!! But I installed these on my new 2240, also from Walmart since the price was the best. I was concerned that these mounts would be loose as others have said, but, they tightened very well. Sometimes I think people just don't know what they're doing or just want to be negative. Anyway, I'm a happy camper since these mounts are doing exactly what they are designed to do. By the way, I mounted a Daisy Red Dot scope that costs $10.00 that works great--better than I expected, and a Crosman shoulder stock (again Walmart had best price) that is also better than I imagined it would be.

This intermount scope mount was absolutely perfect matching for my 2240. It is very well made and looks great. Purchase a quality scope of your liking and it compliments "form follows function".

These are great mounts and very easy to install, highly recommend this product.

If your gun requires them for optics this works perfect. Be careful not to strip when tightening. Put on my crosman 1377.

This mount should clamp to the barrel (Crosman 2240 in this case) and provide a 3/8, 11mm dove tail for the scope rings to grip. It doesn't,though. The dove tail is too narrow for the rings to grip. This is the case with both of the mounts that I have( 2 separate pairs/packages, just to be clear) and has been reported elsewhere as well, but I was pretty sure that I could make it work , so I bought them anyway. The workaround that I employed was to simply lay a 1/8 inch drill bit on top of the two clamping screws. This holds the dovetail open wide enough for the rings to grip. I believe a length of coat hanger wire would work as well. May not be an issue on other guns and I still think its worth $8 as an easy way to mount an optic. I haven't tried one, but I know that the cheap 4x15 Tasco and Centerpoint /Crosman scopes that I have come with rings that can be closed down much smaller than 3/8 inch, so they may grip this mount without modifying it.
