Customer Insights: Rated 4.5/5 from 1991 reviews.
Don’t believe the negative reviews that say everything sticks. If you season the pan as directed, cook on lower heat (the pans are designed for this), let your meat warm up a bit out of the fridge and follow the cleaning instructions (hot water and soak) you will love this cookware and it’s ease of cleanup. They’re also beautiful hanging in my kitchen.
Have had this set on my lists for awhile now. I don't usually buy cookware without first handling it in person, but Cuisinart's reputation precedes itself. Bought this as my "forever" cookset after disappointing years of "nonstick" and ceramic coated failures. Perfect amount of pieces to produce gourmet meals in a jiffy. I am so pleased with this set that I want to add the complimenting Wok and the griddle pan from Cuisinart.
The BEST pots and pans!! Nothing sticks and SO easy to clean!! Large pan is huge! Great collection and all you will probably need! Makes me want to cook more! Buy them! You will love them!! ( I am NOT compensated for this review! - my honest opinion!)
Right now i am on the fence if i should keep them. After 1 use of any pan the inside looks not good. Spotted and weird.
The pots and pans works great if you know how to cook without it being non stick and it has nice weight. However when I opened mine there was already some dents on the metal. I assume it was just from welding. The box says to wash before use and dishwasher safe, so right out of the box I loaded it into my dishwasher and when it came out they all had an iridescent sheen to it. Also when packed away it has what looks like rust. This was after it was cleaned and dried, put away for 2 days before I used it to cook. I scrubbed it off but now I only hand wash them and leave it to air dry for a full day before putting them away. Since I cook every day they do not get put away. Nice set but a bit of a nuisance to care for.
The very first time I used the 2 and 3 qt. saucepans a followed the instructions and used a nylon whisk utensil and both pans had tons of scratches all over the bottoms of them. I didn't even stir that hard! Very disappointing after following their recommendations. I never thought hard anodized would scratch that bad using nylon. I had just replaced my Pampered Chef set that I had for over 20 years. I was hoping these new pans would be my last set I'd ever buy. I do like all the different size pans that came in this set.
I purchased this set, honestly, because the brand. I was under the impression the brand meant the pots would be of good quality but unfortunately, as beautiful as they are, the quality isn’t there. The pots are stained and even have black spots and this is after following the cleaning directions. I used the pot, picture here, three times and it looks like it has been used for years.
I waited a long time to invest in a new set of pots & pans, and after reading the reviews, I was so excited to get these and begin using them. We only use wooden and plastic utensils, and after only one use, the non-stick surface of these pans was scratched. I am incredibly disappointed in the lack of quality. I would have expected more from this brand. The picture I attached was after one use with my new pans, using a plastic utensil.
First time I used the 4 qt Dutch oven with plastic utensils, the stainless steel coating came off, leaving black spots all in the bottom of the dish.
I've only use rubber utensils, and all of the bottoms of my pans are scratched where I've moved the rubber utensils on them. It's not the way they're being stored as there are towels between the stacked pans and pots. Very disappointing after reading positive reviews and the price tag.
