Cuisinart Classic Stainless Steel 7” Cleaver Knife with Blade Guard

bought this as a gift .... it was 'just right' on weight, not flimsy, and LOVE the blade protector ,, what a 'plus' ! the name brand holds true for their products

OMG I wish I purchased this years ago!! I absolutely love this cleaver. When cooking pork shoulder, bone in thighs I am able to glide through the meat and bones with ease!!

I really love this cleaver knife. I like that the handle and blade is one whole piece. the one I used to have was a wooden handle which cracked and the blade kept falling out of the handle.

This is an excellent knife that is well balanced, making it easy to use when cutting large amounts of meat. It is sharp and comes with a cover for the blade, allowing you to store it safely in your drawer when not in use.

I am HIGHLY impressed at the quality of this cleaver. Is it TOP quality? No it is home cook quality. It is sharp right out of the package and does a fantastic job. The weight is hefty and helps with chopping, dicing, etc. I imagine this is the sort of cleaver Martin Yan used on his famous show Yan Can Cook. He only used this type of knife, and I now know why. It takes a bit of getting used to so don't expect to be a master with knife skills from the start.

We LOVE this knife. it arrives super sharp and will cut through bone. very sturdy and well made. The sheath could fit better, but the knife is so good we really don't care.

I am extremely satisfied with the purchase of this 7" cleaver. It is bigger than I thought, but it looks professional and the blade seems to be very sharp. I would recommend this product to others.

I love this knife! We got it for steak tacos and I've been using it for everything because it is so sharp. The top is thick so you can use your hand for added pressure but I doubt you will need to because of the sharpness. Love the design of just one length stainless steel too, I know i won't break the handle off with this.

This item works great slicing potatos, apples, and unpealed bananas without much effort. The blade guard is a must have accessory that comes with the item. The price was ok. Cleaning can be a disadvantage because the steel blade retains stains no matter how much dish soap and hot water I use.
