This is a powerful and very useful kitchen appliance. It's also fairly quiet and safe to use, it won't turn on unless the bowl and lid are locked on. This processors large size is also nice. We used it to make acarrot cake, from shredding the carrots to mixing all of the ingredients together.
love the soft buttons, the large cup and quiet operation. chopped walnuts beautifully and made a shortbread dough. blade is very sharp, so take precaution, I cut a finger while washing before use. I look forward to many years of use. my last Cuisinart lasted more than 30 years.
I recently replaced my old Cuisinart 4 cup food processor with the new elemental 8-cup. I recommend the elemental 8-cup as the perfect size for any kitchen seeking to use a food processor that can do it all, with the reputation and longevity Cuisinart offers their customers. I will continue to purchase Cuisinart products and I recommend their food processors. Excellent value for the money. Five star!
I ordered the Cuisinart Elemental 8-Cup Food Processor in Silver for pickup at Walmart, and the process was easy with polite staff making it quick and convenient. The food processor itself is very straightforward to use, with durable blades and a quality build that feels reliable. It's great value for money, especially at Walmart's competitive price compared to major online sellers. Overall, very pleased with both the product and the shopping experience.
This food processor handles all the needs we have in the kitchen. From shredding cheese to slicing veggies, it handles anything we throw at it. As with all things, I wish there wasn't so much plastic and had more durable metal pieces. I would recommend this purchase to a friend.
We have many Cuisinart appliances in our house. I had an old GE food processor. I think it must've been 30 years old and it finally quit me. So I ordered the Cuisinart. It is really nice so quiet compared to my old GE. Very efficient and easy to clean up.
This food processor doesn't meet the standards of Cuisinart products. The post that the blades work off of wobbles %26 the lid doesn't close well enough that when you turn it on to process, flour sprays out of it. I did contact the Cuisinart company at the number in the operation manual who offered no help at all. I was told it meets Walmarts specifications. I thought I was getting a “real” Cuisinart product. So I got this as a Christmas present, 12/2025, so I'm really disappointed.
Had to cancel because it was delivered to the wrong place as most of my Walmart deliveries are. They tell me I got my money back but I will check because they can't be trusted to do anything anymore. Yes, I know you won't post this, it's so people in the store will see this and maybe fix the problems they have with delivery people who can't read. This one was my fault but the 9 orders before it were not. It's why I switched to Giant Eagle. As for the food processor, I'm replacing mine because after 11 years it is wearing out.
plastic. even the middle structural support thing that the blades and disks attatch to. i tried to shred a russet potato. it wouldnt shred. i had to push really hard and that made the middle plasti pole lean. it was ridiculous. i unplugged it, washed it. packed it back up and returned it. that thing has no business being called a food processor.
Cheap junk! Made with flimsy, cheap plastic parts that will never hold up with regular use. Blades are so thin, I'd be afraid they'd chip when processing frozen foods, nuts, hard cheeses, or anything solid/dense. Will be returning. For the price, I certainly expected much better.
