Large food processor, great price

anonymous September 2, 2025

This is a powerful and very useful kitchen appliance. It's also fairly quiet and safe to use, it won't turn on unless the bowl and lid are locked on. This processors large size is also nice. We used it to make acarrot cake, from shredding the carrots to mixing all of the ingredients together.

Good product, good customer service

Lisa December 28, 2025

I had some difficulty on the initial setup (totally my fault) and called customer service for help. The person was friendly and very patient. We figured out my problem together and she waited for me to try it before hanging up. I would buy another Cuisinart product for that reason. The only thing I could suggest is to stamp the full product number on the appliance. It only had FP-8 on the bottom and I had to go into my Walmart order history to find it in order to complete my warranty registration.

love the soft buttons, the large cup and quiet operation. chopped walnuts beautifully and made a shortbread dough. blade is very sharp, so take precaution, I cut a finger while washing before use. I look forward to many years of use. my last Cuisinart lasted more than 30 years.

EASY PICKUP - GOOD PRODUCT!

Sam August 24, 2025

I ordered the Cuisinart Elemental 8-Cup Food Processor in Silver for pickup at Walmart, and the process was easy with polite staff making it quick and convenient. The food processor itself is very straightforward to use, with durable blades and a quality build that feels reliable. It's great value for money, especially at Walmart's competitive price compared to major online sellers. Overall, very pleased with both the product and the shopping experience.

Great tool for the value.

Bryan July 24, 2026

Mandolin is super sharp to the touch, so watch out. Also if you do anything with a wet mix like salsa or similar, sometimes there's a little opening where the food gets stuck and it's super hard to clean out. Had to dig it out with a tiny knife. Massive design flaw and a cross contamination issue Other than that this thing rocks for the price.

Much too lightweight.

Sara March 26, 2026

Very flimsy! It is so lightweight that I had to hold down hard on the machine to prevent it from sliding off the counter. It did chop a small amount of fruit and nuts ok while I was “restraining” the processor, but I can't imagine I would be able to make most f the recipes in the accompanying recipe booklet. I'd return it if I could!

Prairie girl

Prairiegirl March 17, 2026

This food processor doesn't meet the standards of Cuisinart products. The post that the blades work off of wobbles %26 the lid doesn't close well enough that when you turn it on to process, flour sprays out of it. I did contact the Cuisinart company at the number in the operation manual who offered no help at all. I was told it meets Walmarts specifications. I thought I was getting a “real” Cuisinart product. So I got this as a Christmas present, 12/2025, so I'm really disappointed.

Cheap Junk

Chris January 31, 2026

Cheap junk! Made with flimsy, cheap plastic parts that will never hold up with regular use. Blades are so thin, I'd be afraid they'd chip when processing frozen foods, nuts, hard cheeses, or anything solid/dense. Will be returning. For the price, I certainly expected much better.

Item never arrived….

OBX November 20, 2025

This review is rated this way because the item was never received. I ordered it, it was shipped, I waited a week and was told to cancel the order by customer service. Unfortunately the person in customer service said that there are too many items in the store that need sorted and they are unable to find my item at the store and deliver to my home. It was shipped from another state to my local store and then they use some Last Mile Delivery from the store to my home. I did not have the opportunity to ick the item up or I would have. I wish I could give a real review of the actual item.

Waste of money

Peaches54 March 9, 2026

This food processor may have been placed in the wrong box by mistake. It was supposed to be an 8 cup processor but turned out to be only a 5 cup processor. Even as a 5 cup processor it struggled to do small tasks. I tried making a smoothie with a 4 cup ingredient recipe including ice, and frozen fruit the processor vibrated all over my countertop. It failed to do a significant job chopping the fruit or the ice even after I allowed the fruit to thaw for over 30 minutes. This processor also failed at mixing a 4 cup ingredient recipe for ice cream.(nothing frozen) the contents managed to splatter out between the space the cup and the top cover should have been sealed tightly enough when snapped together to prevent spillage when contents are being mixed/processed. Lastly the top shoot to place fruit and vegetables for slicing, chopping and shredding was too small and too hard to put produce in it which made that a major hassle and time consuming. The only good thing about this processor was that the blades were pretty decent. But, in general this food processor does not live up to the Cuisinart brand name.
