KitchenAid 3.5 Cup Food Chopper - KFC3510

I was let known that Walmart is now competing side by side with Amazon and bit charging for shipping. My KitchenAid bowl broke and it was more expensive to by a replacement bowl then a new one. So I ordered this morning around 11am. It said it would be delivered today. I was like, what? Today? No way. Well not only did I order it today, but cleaned the plastic residues that normally come with a new product, but just finished using it. All in the same day. Wow! Thanks Walmart. You're my new go-to for ordering. As long as you keep it free shipping, ive got no reason to go back to Amazon to pay a $6.00 delivery for something that would normally cost less than a dollar. Aaaand, after I pay that $6.00 delivery, most of the stuff I buy ends up coming 4-7 days later than I was supposed to get it. That's why I despise Amazon. Charging me for being late, and in some cases, time sensitive products.

Once you figure out two items, it works great. The chopping function actually cuts vegetables well without smashing them, and the 3.5 capacity is perfect for us. The two things are: 1. To open the cap just twist it to the side and 2. Make sure when you put the container back it does click into place (it doesn't do it easily at the behinning) otherwise, it does not work.

I can't remember when I purchased my KitchenAid food chopper - at least 15 years ago. It's useful for so many things. I use it for all kinds of sauces, blending ingredient, whipped crean, salad dressings, soups. It is very reliable and efficient. I use it regularly for chopping nuts and fruits, making smoothies and more. I say more because I'm sure there are more things I haven't discovered yet! Sometimes I put it in the dishwasher or wash by hand. It seems well-made and

This is my second processor from Hamilton Beach the same one. Giving that one to my brother so they can play cook with it and I got a new one. I would've loved to have gotten a colored one like white or the two colors of bluish green but they were $80 and $112. What what was that all about.? So I ended up with the silver one just like my old one for $40. But it works great made dozens and dozens of Oreo balls and dips and crunched up nuts and it does a great job on all.

I love this KitchenAid 3.5 Cup Food Chopper! I've used it to make pesto sauce and green onion scallion ginger sauce, and it works great! The size is perfect for making small portions without having to use a large food processor. One thing I really like is that the blade sits low enough to chop smaller amounts of ingredients effectively, so I don't have to keep adding more just to get everything chopped. It's easy to use, saves time, and is perfect for everyday cooking. Definitely a great little kitchen helper!

warning, no instructions on how to open. The cup and lid are entirely plastic so be careful. I was able to unlock the lid and remove the cup from the base. I like the location of the power button. It is conveniently located at the top of the handle. If you need power, press down. Once you lift the button the power stops. Much easier than having to locate the buttons on the front. 3.5 cups is a good size. I had a large onion and 3 carrots. I was able to accomplish the task in 2 batches. I don't want to clean (or store) a full size processor so this is a great size. I only gave 4 stars since the unit is plastic but it is worth the price. I will be using occasionally so it will work for my needs.

I almost returned this item. It was not easy to assemble. For being so little it sure took a while to get used to putting all the part together. And it won't work if one of the parts is not put in place correctly. Not my favorite. Skip the trouble and buy a different style

Whoever made this did a horrible job. It's difficult to use by putting the top on and taking it off…. it gets stuck everytime I try to chop something. After a couple minutes of wrestling with the top and I finally get it on, it works, then there's that dreaded feeling of taking the top off……

No directions on use. It was hard to assmble and never even used it. i returned it and got a refund. Don't bother.

There were no instructions in the box. I just checked the reviews and saw that others had the same complaint. Also it does not work. I purchased this item because it was a Kitchen Aid Appliance and I own other Kitchen Aid Appliances. I was very disappointed with this processor and therefore I am returning it.
