I bought this to replace an old model that got broken during a move. This is such a handy little kitchen appliance. Great for chopping and pureeing small batches of veggies, fruits, nuts, etc. and for crushing ice. Great value for the money because Kitchen Aid makes quality products that last.
I use this all the time!!! I have had the smaller and cheaper choppers that didn't last! This one works great and last has long -this is my second one and the only reason I'm getting another is during the holidays someone happened to throw away the blade while helping clean up! LOL
This is the perfect size food processor for every day use. Its easy to use and easy to clean. I keep it on the counter top because I literally use it to chop everything from onions, tomatoes, fine chopping garlic, making salsa etc .I highly recommend it due to its size if you're looking for something not as big as a regular food processor
I was afraid that I was going to break it. Seems intuitive but I kind of was challenged to figure out how to work it the first and the second time … but now I've got it down. 😉 Simple YouTube video out there clearly depicting how to assemble an unassembled would've been super helpful.
I really like this KitchenAid 3.5 Cup Food Chopper. I have another small KitchenAid chopper which I purchased several years ago. I rarely use it because it is difficult to use as it has NO Handle and the container is very, very hard to remove from the motor. Anyway, I really love this KitchenAid 3.5 Cup Food Chopper" mainly because it has a Handle" and it's so much easier to operate then my old chopper. Thank You! so much Kitchenaid. Great! Great! Product!
At first I was very frustrated with this product. The “instructions” didn't explain anything — only warned me about dangers. Had to figure it out. Neither ChatGPT nor Google were any help. Once I figured it out it seemed “intuitive,” but it took a good 15 minutes. But I really like it. The manufacturer needs to write actual instructions!
This is a good processor for what you get. I use mine several times a day for mixing health smoothies, blending eggs with cheese, chopping potatoes, and chopping celery. My only real problem with it is the hollow space on the underside of the blade piece; it's very easy for bits to get stuck inside there, and they don't always want to come out easily. Get yourself a small brush that will fit into the small space and you'll have an easier time getting the processor clean.
Just not the KitchenAid standrd im used to. But still has a KitchenAid price tag. Wobbles unfontrollably, cant chop even semi thawed fruit, its either mostly unchopped or mushy when doing meat, mostly chicken. Hard time getting it to lock i. place then it locks but also somehow has shifted the chopper option to puree so i have to sqitch back left everytime i instll the reservoir. Sometimes the blade unit does mot want to click into the bse which is irritating. idk. just over all let down.
Whoever made this did a horrible job. It's difficult to use by putting the top on and taking it off…. it gets stuck everytime I try to chop something. After a couple minutes of wrestling with the top and I finally get it on, it works, then there's that dreaded feeling of taking the top off……
I've had this for about a month, but I still haven't used it because I can't figure out how to make it work. I was excited to have a KitchenAid product, but I watched their How To video, and followed the method that it advised, but I can't get it to work. There is no written user's guide. Disappointed!
