Hamilton Beach Stack & Snap 10-Cup Food Processor, 500 W, 2-Speed with Pulse, Extra-Large Chute and Bowl Scraper, Black

I've been looking for a food processor for about a month now per encouragement from my daughter. My husband recently had an emergency quadruple bypass surgery, and we are changing our diets to start living a healthier lifestyle. I've been overwhelmed with all of this and shopping for a food processor has been a little overwhelming as well with all of the different models and endless options to figure out I what I really wanted to meet our needs. After much researching I decided on this model and Walmart offered the best price and I loved that it was in stock when I was ready to make my purchase. So far it has exceeded my expectations as I start this new food journey for healthy living.

I love how easy it is to put together and use. The scraper is an excellent idea. it's very stable and washes very well. The only thing is that you need to pay close attention to, is the serrated edges of the blade when you put it in the Dishwasher because meat tends to stick to it. So give it a quick oncr over with a scratcher pad before washing.

I was about 5lb into processing 40lb of tomatoes from my garden for canning when my blender died. Walmart delivery to the rescue! I had been wanting to get a food processor for some time and it looked like today was the day with the Black Friday deals. I should have got this a long time ago, this little powerhouse ground through the other 35 lb in no time. It was between this one and the one with the spiral cutter and I am very glad I got this one because the side scraper has been great! It went together quickly and went straight to work.

Works fine but I had another just like it. The plastic tabs that hold the top on are...plastic and will break. The bowl holds a nice amount and chops well. However, if you ever break the plastic piece that fits the slot connecting top to bottom... game over.

I've only had this food processor for a day but I've already made salsa, homemade peanut butter and tahini and hummus. I haven't used the slicing blade yet. It works wonderfully. It isn't too terribly loud. It is easy to clean. I bought this specific processor b/c I loved the idea of the side scraper. It is better in theory than practice tho b/c it doesn't go all the way to the bottom of the bowl and you still have to stop it and scrape it anyway. HOWEVER, it is cheap plastic crap. It works well but the bowl and/or lid are going to break quickly. They are all plastic pieces that get excessive use and when any one piece of the lid breaks the food processor won't turn on. It is 100% gonna happen because it such low quality. But, until the lid breaks I will enjoy using it. I have a Mainstays brand 3 cup mini food chopper that is amazing and has lasted years with excessive use, very high quality pieces. I wish Mainstays would make a larger food processor just like their mini one.

The sound of the blender is too loud. You can't even blend anything while your baby is asleep. I was gonna return it, but my husband put the package box in the trash so I couldn't return it. That's why I still have it in my home. So whoever that makes this, please try to work on the sound. It's too loud for people ears thank you.

It is easy to assemble. It mixes ok. But don't try grating anything, especially cheese! That's why I got this food processor, so I could chop vegies and grate cheese. The suction cups that hold the mixer on the counter jump when you are trying to grate cheese and it leaves black marks on the countertop. The cheese gets stuck above the blade, and the horsepower is too strong for this little plastic processor, so it breaks the suction cups loose. I was hopeful this would work, but it is a waste of your money. Pay extra and get a better-quality food processer.

Honestly, i bought this to mainly grate cheese. I HATE that function of it. The cheese consistently gets stuck and makes the blade not turn properly. By the time I dig the cheese out and put everything back on, I, literally, could have hand grated it. So frustrating.

used it 4 times to slice veggies and the plastic in the middle busted and broke the plastic in the center of the blade. there is so much space between the feed tube to the blade that big chucks get missed and it make a bunch of noise and u have to fish them out

item was horrible. got 1 from Walmart it last 6 days before motor went out. thought shaft was going to fly off. took it back and got same one and 3 days motor went out. this defect is horrible now I'm stuck with this because I lost the box and can't return it. out money for two times using it
