I got this for a Christmas, and it was the perfect gift for me. I've been cooking my entire adult life, and have just about every cooking accessory ... except a panini press. This product does that REALLY well, but it does much more. The interchangeable pla kind of plates (top and bottom) are a great innovation that I take advantage of often making breakfast. The fact that you can fold the top back so that you have 2 grills with each having a different plate is a huge plus. Highly recommend!
These plates performed well. They make the thicker Belgian style waffles. The wide margins catch overflow before it drips down the sides of the Griddler. My one complaint, though not enough to reduce the score, is that they are rather thin. They do not carry the heft, and therefore sense of quality, of the waffle plates of my previous waffle iron (1977 Kenmore).
Bought new griddle and replaced our waffle grates as well from some we had had for 20 years. My grandkids have been raised on these waffles and wanted to be able to keep making them.
Bought the waffle place for my new griddle. Quite pleased with the results. Agree with other comment about how the bottom plate heats a little faster than the upper plate but knowing that just have to time your food correctly. Other than that quite happy with the purchase - my kids love the waffles
I don't usually have waffles when I go out for breakfast, but when I bought the Cuisinart Griddler I decided to get the waffle plates. I went to the grocery store and I got some instant batter. And they came out great, nice size and a nice taste. I was also able to freeze the leftovers, because I really didn't need to eat four waffles at one seating.
I made waffles for the first time this morning. The waffles plates snap in very easily and are removed for cleaning just as easily. The waffles came our great and didn't stick to the plates. Having the removable plates is much easier than cleaning a George Forman grill. We love the grill and the griddle plates as well. We are very happy with this product and it doesn't take up a lot of room to store it.
I love how this is a great addition to our griddle! Makes breakfast a breeze! Also good quality heating spread.
I have it for over 10 years and it worked great. Lost it during a move and bought it again because is a great griddler
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used the waffle plates on my griddler and was really happy with the results. It's a good amount of waffle and quite fluffy. Love how easy to clean they are as well.
Very happy to have the waffle attachments for my griddle. They work with many things - I made latkes last week! Easy & space saving easy to add Waffles into your life. You still get the little crunchy bits in the edge, which is the best part. The top (as always) doesn't get as hot as the bottom, so sometimes I'll flip the waffle, but they're cookies and crispy no matter what!
