Customer Insights: Rated 4.5/5 from 72 reviews.
I had two 8 inch skillets that I use all the time and love. Like new after years and years of use. Always nonstick. So, when my large skillet, another brand, began to shed its coating, I looked for a comparable size in a Cuisinart. I use it so often, I actually keep it on top of the stove! Love, love it.
The pan heats up extremely well. The "green," therefore healthier, non-stick surface is excellent. The pan is relatively new, so I cannot address its durability, but Consumer Reports rated it well enough for me to give this healthier option a try.
We had one of these for over 10 years, and never had a problem. The coating started to degrade in one spot so we replaced it. We have only had it for a few weeks, but seems to be the same great product as before. Very glad to have someone making non toxic cookware that lasts. Hope that some day they will be indestructible! HA
I love this line of cookware! Non-stick without the dangerous chemicals. It heats well, is very durable (with appropriate care), and Cuisinart takes care of their customers with their lifetime warranty. I am so pleased with the customer service that I will purchase their products again and again.
This is a great 1" skillet. Heat is distributed equally unlike other skillets I have used. This is my second skillet in the Green Gourmet anodized line which influenced my decision when it came to replacing my old skillet pan. I love to fry eggs, cook scrambled eggs and brown ground beef in this pan. For eggs I use a hint of butter to coat the surface to ensure nonstick. Works very well. I appreciate quality and I appreciate Cuisinart's quality in the design and engineering of this skillet pan.
I wanted a larger skillet but it was also important to me that the coating on the pan did not contain PTFE and PFOA. I had just ordered the set of the same pans so wanted to keep everything together. I absolutely love the size as well as the ease of clean up. This is a keeper!!
I've been using this pan for several weeks now, and it is probably the best egg pan I've ever owned. I won't put it in the dishwasher so that might be the reason the non stick has held up so well, but I use it alot. At least once day. The price was awesome. When I decide to toss my old Epicurious 12 inch pan, I'll probably replace it with the Cuisinart.
The pan worked great at first but after a few months things started to stick when cooking on it even when using oil. I bought this pan even though it was more expensive thinking it would not stick like other pans. Its still a good pan, I guess I just had higher expectations.
Based on previous reviews and the best rating from Consumers Report, I bought 3 pans, one each for my sons and one for myself. It was a total disappointment! The nonstick surface sticks immediately in the first use. The other 2 also had the same problem.
I had high hopes for this pan, but unfortunately I had issues with it. I only use it to make eggs and turkey burgers and the food immediately sticks. I swear it was more of a "stick" pan instead of a non-stick pan. Not sure what I'm doing wrong? I don't use high heat and I even use a dash of olive oil, but the eggs or burger still sticks. It is easy to clean, but not too easy to cook with.
