I just love this slow cooker!! I bought the same one over 10 years ago and wore it out, so bought another one. They do a great job evenly and thoroughly cooking whatever you put in them. The ceramic crock is super easy to remove and clean in the dishwasher. The timer for cooking automatically switches to 7.5 hours of warm setting so there's no more over cooking something because it got done while you were still in the office. Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed in this slow cooker!
I just purchased my second one, as the first one finally wore out (after many years of use). It has been easy to use, reliable, and just the right size for a smaller household. I looked at many others before I decided to simply replace it. Nothing else gave me what I wanted.
The slow cooker is the perfect size for my needs, not too large or too small. Being able to select specific programming is a convenient feature. For instance, I chose the high option to cook for a few hours; chose the simmer option for overnight and then next day, I used the warm option to only heat up what I cooked. Overall, it's a quality, versatile cooker and easy to wash. It's a nice stainless steel that looks good esthetically and can be left on the counter or stored. I personally prefer Cusinart products, because they're well made and if they're maintained properly; they'll last a long time. I've had Cusinart appliances, pots and pans for years and they still function and look new.
This Cuisinnart 3.5 qt. slow cooker is the perfect size to cook a pot roast in that feeds 4 people plus a little left over. It works terrfic and has a nice see through lid with a vent. The size fits into my cabinet easily and overall it is sturdy but light weight. It comes with a booklet on how to operate and a few recipes. It's a great looking crock pot that replaced my 50 year old pot that still works.
The Cuisinart 3.5 Programmable Slow Cooker is exactly what I was wanting to purchase. It is small enough to store in my pantry. The interior liner is light and therefore easy to lift out and wash in the sink. My first use making apricot chicken thighs was a success. Despite its small size, the cooking time was the same as for a larger slow cooker. I appreciate the recipe and instruction booklets accompanying the slow cooker. While my 6-quart slow cooker is still functional after 17 years, I was never able to store it in a kitchen cupboard. I had to carry it up and down from the basement. Too large and too heavy. As I have gotten older, the slow cooker has become way too cumbersome. I am thrilled with my Cuisinart!
I love my Cuisinart slow cooker! It is the perfect size for the 2 of us—yet can make a full dinner for 4 or more! Soup, Stew, Soup, Casserole, it makes them all with easy to read and work dials.
This is my first digital slow cooker and is now my all-time favorite. Works flawlessly and easy to clean. I would really like to see someone make a 2 quart version of a digital slow cooker for even smaller batch cooking.
This size is perfect for two, but I've had to re-do my thinking to cook on "high" vs. low or simmer in order to quicken cooking time. Otherwise it would be close to 12 hrs. As stated, it works very well with soups and meats. I'm now going to find away to cook beans faster. Good little appliance!
Dependable, great quality, easy to use. It doesn't have a few of the doo dads I've seen on others but they don't really matter. It is very easy to use, excellent quality, the perfect size. I fill it halfway if it's for fewer people and the food comes out great.
The pot dosent get to the heat it says it will on high less than comfortable using it the amount of time the receipt calls for. Need to make it 2-3 hours longer for proper cooking
