Cuisinart Stainless Steel 12-Cup Coffee Maker, Black

Love the new sleek look of this Cuisinart 12 Cup Coffeemaker (DCC-1220 Series). I also like some of the new features ex, displaying how long the coffee has been brewed. You can also change the time of how long you would like to keep the coffeemaker on ex., 1 hour or 1 hour 20 minutes etc. I am very impressed with this Cuisinart Coffeemaker and would highly recommend to anyone who needs to purchase a new coffeemaker.

This coffeemaker makes the hottest coffee of any coffeemaker that I have tried. I love truly hot coffee, and so do a lot of other people. Other advantages of this coffeemaker are the extra-strong caraffe and the built-in filter that allows one to avoid using a paper filter if one does not have time or energy to use a paper filter. I love it and am so glad that I made this purchase!

I've always been a fan of Cuisinart coffee makers (had a couple DC1200s for decades) so I was hoping my quest for a newer model would net me a good morning brew. And it did! This one doesn't cause water dripping at all (eg when opening the reservoir after brewing) and the pot itself makes pouring a little less drippy with its design (the older ones would always drip for my husband, who tends to be in a hurry for his morning jolt; being more patient, I rarely experienced this). As for the brew... it's perfect as expected! The time-since-brew was a welcome change too. Cuisinart, I'm still a big fan. Thanks!

I wanted a coffee pot that only makes drip coffee. Didn’t need anything for pods or anything fancy, just a coffee maker that makes good, hot coffee. This maker fit the bill. Programming was easy and only took a few minutes to figure out. I love the countdown after the coffee has been brewed! The only negative is the water fill. I have to pull the coffee maker all the way to the edge of my counter to be able to open the lid all the way to reach the water tank. It’s kind of a pain, but not bad enough to detract from the brewer. All-in-all this is a decent coffee maker that brews great coffee

This coffee pot looks great in my kitchen and works well. I’ve had no issues so far. Two things I wish were different: It only stays on for 2 hours. My husband leaves for work several hours before I do and by the time I’m ready for coffee, it has already turned off. Also, when pulling out the carafe to put your cup, it leaks from the top - I know it’s just water from the coffee filter basket but it’s a pet peeve of mine and I have to dry the burner before setting the carafe back in place. Otherwise great coffee pot for the price!

Not nearly as good as my previous Cuisinart. Coffeepot lid remains attached to coffee pot making it difficult to clean. Coffee holder has a foldable handle making it difficult to hold while cleaning (previous model had a tab extending above the top level of the holder which was perfect for lifting or holding the coffee holder). Using the same filter, amount of coffee and water level as previous coffeepot this model brews faster and not as flavorful as previous model.

Made of mostly cheap and cheap looking plastic. Nothing like my previous 12 cup stainless steel one. I actually ordered the 14 cup stainless steel one which was supposedly in stock but they sent me this. Not a good substitute.

I don't remember the last time I could buy a coffee maker that made great coffee. Cuisinart I have alway's been a fan of. No matter what I did it didn't make a decent cup and will have to return it. Very plastic. Although it looked great I wanted it to be the one.

Not happy with this at all. Purchased 9 months ago and it is totally DEAD. It has only been on my kitchen counter. No travel. Nokids.

Cuisinart has always been high quality - a quiet coffeemaker without any dripping. However this one is particularly noisy and drips onto the warmer every time I pick up the carafe. Not happy this time.
