I wish the directions would've been a bit clearer. After installing and turning water back on I had water everywhere. After checking I saw that the rubber seal from the old flushing system was not installed in this one. After removing the rubber seal inside the new flushing system all worked well. Now I will replace the other 3 toilets in my house. I 100% Recommend this Product

havent put it in the toilet yet, as i am waiting for a new toilet,but, it is supposed to save water, as, i have a water well, and could really like to save the water flows. it seems easy enough to put together, i am looking forward to using this in my new toilet.

The Danco HydroRight toilet repair kit is super easy to install. This kit, according to the box, will work on almost all toilets. The side of the box has simple easy to understand photo installation instructions. It is dual flush and uses less water. No tools are required. We're pleased with it.

Although my husband says it's a little hard to install, this flush system is good for your toilet as it saves you water. I think you have to adjust the pressure coz when I flush for pee it's not that strong and it doesn't flush the toilet paper. We had a visitor and they didn't know how to use it so they rotated it like a knob. My husband fixed it so just letting you know not to panic as it can be fixed

Our toilet had to be flushed a certain way or the darn chain would kink and it would run until I opened the back and unkinked it. Our household knew the flushing trick but anytime we had guests over they didn't flush it right. It was embarrassing having to fix it when you're hosting something. So, when I saw this coverts a handle to a dual flush push button kit I was excited. -No more chain! Originally, I was going to install this myself but it was a little overwhelming for me to be honest. They say easy to install but after looking at the directions, reading reviews, watching videos...I thought it didn't seem all that easy and let my husband do it ha ha. So, he not a man of many words so I don't have much to say about installing. He seemed to not have many issues and everything works just fine. It actually worked better than I expected. I like how you have two options of water usage for flushing to save water. It's nice not having to worry about the toilet running anymore! I did learn a tip from reading other reviews. They suggested to switch out the zip ties for better ones cause that was the one thing that would likely break over time cause they did seem pretty thin. I also saw people complain the button was plastic, but it seems like metal to me and it's pretty solid, so don't let that deter you. Overall, so far (I haven't used it for very long so I can't say how long this lasts) I am very happy with this kit and totally recommend!

This is definitely an upgrade over the standard flusher I had. I'm not a plumber, but I know my way around simple plumbing tasks. I found it a bit tricky to install this. I assumed it would take about 20 minutes, but it ended up well over an hour. The hardest part was getting the rubber on the bottom of the outlet mechanism to seal against the rubber outlet of the tank. The blue part folds and lets water drain through, but not enough pressure, and water can leak through all around. This was also my first encounter with a tank filling mechanism that sits on the bottom of the tank. Once I understood, it was easy enough to install, but the instructions were not extremely clear to me in this section. I got it figured out and am happy with the product now that it's installed, but I wouldn't recommend it for anybody not already comfortable with bathroom plumbing and flushers.

Purchased to replace a leaking flapper. Read all instructions and did the install in 20 minutes but something wasn’t lined up properly with the new flapper. (On last page in small print) stated may not fit 1.28 gallon tanks. As that is the size of my tank it didn’t sit correctly, attached pictures before removing and replacing with new original parts. If you have an older tank this is a quick easy install and only about five dollars more than a traditional handle. Some states required the 1.28 gallon tank to reduce water consumption so check your take water capacity before purchasing, it will be stamped on side or back of bowl. I will save this item for someone who needs a replacement as I think it looks nice and a quick fix. States no tools required but I did need a tape measure, wrench to remove old unit and Teflon tape for plastic threads, other than that very easy replacement. The button is plastic rather than traditional metal handle but it does have a metal look.

It's a universal full valve, it cleaves water, and no tools are required. It has adjustable water settings.it has premium silicone seals they are chlorine and chemical resistant. So that it won't warp and be long lasting. The button has two options of a quick light flush or a full flush so it saves more water. It was super easy to install and works great I love having the two button feature and makes me feel good about wasting less water.

As my title noted, something the instructions doesn't make you aware of until page 3, and after installing the first half of repair kit (I wasn't even aware of my toilet being a low flush until now). This is critical information, equally important to this kit not being compatible to a Mansfield toilet. I'm sure this kit is effective on a toilet it's designed for, which unfortunately I don't own. Instructions - fill valve does not adjust as easy as described, when I attempted to adjust upper valve body, the whole device turned and the ‘positive locking mechanism' is hard to adjust once valve is installed in tank. Step 6 and 7 should specify that it's best to hold the bottom of valve tube to assist in device not turning during adjustments. Overall a frustrating experience.

I had been avoiding installing this. I knew I had to do it so I could write a review. But the thought of it scared me. You know…#plumbing. Yikes! However, today I buckled down and replaced the stuff in my toilet tank. It was not hard. I think the hardest part for me was removing the nut that held the old valve in place. I got a bruise on my thumb from that. The new valve was super easy to install. I did not get the part of the instructions that said how to adjust the height of the valve. But the old stuff in our toilet tank was short, so I left it as it was. The part that gets the kit knocked down a few stars is the dual flush system. The seal for the flush thing (I forgot their name for that part. It is the part that goes where the flapper usually sits.) did not fit perfectly in my tank. I do not know if it was just a user error or what. However, no matter how I tried, even with the extra cam they provide, I could not get it to sit and make a good seal. After I turned the water back on, it would leak into the bowl just enough that every 30 seconds or so, I would hear it add water to the tank. So I took that part out and replaced it with my old flapper and flush handle. With the new valve and the old flapper, my toilet is like new (that makes no sense)! It does not run the tiny bit that it did before and it does not take years to fill as it did before. It is great! Just be careful if you try to do the dual flush part. Make sure it creates a good seal so it does not drain into the bowl!
