DAP Kwik Seal Ultra 10.1 oz Clear Kitchen and Bath Siliconized Caulk Sealant

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a 55 yr old female who has never caulked anything. I remember years ago seeing my father use a caulking gun. I don't know if I'd be able to use a caulking gun. Luckily I used a squeeze tube of KWIK SEAL ULTRA Premium Siliconized Sealant. The caulking along the top edge of my sink has been there about 30 years I guess. The man that put the sink in did the caulking. I don't know what brand he used. It had some places where caulking was missed, etc. I've always considered it an eyesore. I first scraped the old caulking off using a putty knife. I then took a wet rag to get any loose caulking and to get the area clean. I then took a dry rag and dried the area. I took cap off KWIK SEAL tube. I didn't have a utility knife like recommended. Instead I used a pocket knife to cut the end at 45 degree angle. I tried cutting as little as possible since I didn't want a huge amount coming out. It's suggested to smooth and round the cut tip slightly with 100-grit sandpaper. I didn't have the sandpaper. My cut looked smooth though. I placed the nozzle against the sink along wall at one end. I squeezed the tube and as the caulking came out I slowly at even pace moved the tube along the top of the sink down to the opposite side. It only took one application to fill in the area. It was easy to do. My brother came by today and I showed him. He was surprised I got the old caulking off. I told him I had no trouble getting the old off. He agreed it looks much better now. I am proud I was able to do this. It wasn't a big job but it is something that will be noticed by everyone washing their hands at my sink. I will definitely use this brand again and recommend it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used my KWIK SEAL ULTRA Premium Siliconized Sealant to seal around my toilet. We recently had to pull our toilet up and replace the toilet ring; therefore, it needed to be resealed after it was bolted back down. The squeeze tube makes it easy to apply in tight areas and it would be great for small projects. The product has easy to read and understand directions making use easy for anyone. The sealant dries fairly quickly and I appreciate that it is waterproof and that it repels stains and dirt. It is very low odor and it is easy to clean with water if needed if you make a mistake applying it.

It sealed great , went on easy , and didn't have a smell whatsoever. It dried very quickly and turned clear within 12 hours. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this product a lot because it is super easy to use because it already has a cutout pre cut so that it is easy to apply the product and I like it a lot because I can use it in all my house where I need it I recommend it for those people who need to fix their bathroom or cook and do not have much experience

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a very good product and and is not messy, and love that is is resistant to mold and mildew.. and yes I would buy this product again and would use the clear kind I was aware of other kinds and have used them..they were so messy that i just didnt bother until i got this sample in the mail last week and had to use it..and it surprised me by not getting all over the place! I was not aware of Kwik Seal Ultra Premium Siliconized Sealant (Clear) as i was not ever going to buy any again ..was just too messy and i would recommend this product to others and as a result i told all my coworkers about it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the ease with which this tube can be squeezed out, and the fact that it fits in tight places unlike the big caulking gun. Also, the cap allows for the caulk to stay fresh, pretty much indefinitely. I used up a tube of it well over a year after I first opened it. Purchased the next one to have on hand. Great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Seriously this caulk/sealant surpassed all my expectations. Old sealant where my kitchen sink and stone countertop meet accumulates a disgusting brown gunk and has to be scrubbed almost daily. Today I used Kwik Seal Ultra Premium sealant over the old stuff. It came out of the tube white and dried clear. Because it started out white i could easily see where I needed to reapply or smooth out. The consistency was easy to work with and it dried within 4 hours. Time will tell whether it gunks up like the old sealant but Kwik Seal touts that this sealant is easy to clean. I didn't know sealants could dry so quick, be so easy to apply and clean so well. 5 stars!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this product for years and I have never had any issues with it and that goes for this time as well. I used the KWIK SEAL ULTRA Premium Siliconized Sealant around all of my baseboards after I painted and even around a few of my window casings and I have not found a better product. It goes on smoothly without any fuss and even cleans up like a charm. in my book this is a A+ product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this product to recaulk the sink. It applied very easily, and even if it was slightly messy and uneven when applying it, it seemed to even itself out. It applies white, but then after a few days it becomes clear- slightly transparent. It's nice to know that water can be in contact with it within 4 hours, so that when you want to wash your hands, you don't have to worry about messing up the caulking. The offical, perfect seal happens in about 48 hours though. All in all, a really nice caulk, would buy again.

Used in a shower to caulk tub/tile line. Dissolved after 4 days. Made the mistake of using as the sealant (as other brands worked in the past) for the drain. Held 5 days then dissolved. Followed application directions. Guess the product just isn't for kitchen, bath and plumbing as the tube reads. Thanks for misguiding marketing. I feel the pain of other 1 star customers. Wish I checked here first. Now to attempt removing from a recently refinished tub. Never using a dap product again.
