DAP Silicone Max 2.8 oz Clear Kitchen and Bath Sealant

It did what it was purchased to do.

Easy to use and very effective. It fully sets and seals within one hour. It has a low odor and dispenses effortlessly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product dries extremely fast, so if you intend to first seal the entire tub, don't! It goes on very easily and I was able to edge sections at a time, but I made sure I was happy with that section before moving on and sealing more. The previous owner installed tiles, which weren't always flush, and resulted in cracks/holes where it wasn't properly grouted and sealed. In comes this product. I love that it is 100% silicone as that is preferred especially when dealing with areas surrounded by water, as in the bath tub. I edged the surrounding tub, and it looks great! the white color dries as it is when it is wet. Again, the curing process (dry time) is quick, because when I went back to touch up an area, it was already tacky and so I'll wait to touch it up later. Beware to use in a ventilated area as the fumes are strong. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this product and can't wait to use the rest of the tube for sealing in my other bathroom. I don't think I'll have to worry about the kids splashing around anymore!

It was stripped & redone prior, but that didn't last long with the product we used because it was of poor quality, which we discovered while applying. So we were happy to try DAP Max because it's supposed to be a better quality. We didn't have a lot to lose, but we gained so much! This product was so easy to use & apply. We had the job done in no time. It applies so smoothly & dried quicker than we had anticipated. It looks wonderful. My whole bathroom looks better just from updating our tub with this product. It's been a few weeks now & it still looks wonderful. I would recommend this to anyone. Can't wait to purchase another tube to do our downstairs bathroom!

I replaced my old sealant this and now my tub sparkles. It compares better to other products you've tried and the size is the perfect amount. It was easy to use, no bubbles when applying. It has been about a month and it is still as white as when I first applied it. No mold or mildew. Easy to wipe clean. Great product, this should be your go to caulk!

The silicone is just the right consistency for application. It dries in perfectly. I gots nothing bad to say.

Used the product to replace silicone sealant in a new marble tile shower. Mildew formed within months at the floor wall/juncture.
