Dark and Lovely Cleansing Water for Protective Styles, 8 fl oz

Great product highly recommend

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While this product wont replace my staple shampoo, this will likely become the shampoo I use when Im wearing a protective style like braids or twists. The nozzle made it easy to get between my parts and the smell had me on cloud nine, it smelled fantastic. It lathered but not too much. The only criticism I have about this is that the product is very liquidity which caused me to have to scrub areas outside of my parts and made my style a little frizzy. That can be fixed but it was just something I noticed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I enjoyed using this product. The scent is a very clean smell, not overpowering. It a thin consistency and helped clean my scalp pretty good. Depending on what style you have a little goes a long way. I had crochet braids in so it was super easy to get this product to my scalp.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I had to wait to wash my hair but it has a strong scent. Its a nice bottle lavender is my favorite color. It could be thicker I use Cantu and its a bit more. It was okay I will try it again just to make sure I like it!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great product. My scalp felt very clean but not completely stripped of moisture. I like that theres aloe vera to keep the hair moisturized and its a nice watery consistency to ensure that the product washes out!

The product does exactly what it says however I was confused at first because it says to put in your hair to clean and then you rinse it off but I thought the whole point was when you dont want to wash your hair yet with the protective style you just use this product instead. Im still very confused by that lol but I put it in my hair(I have twist in) and didnt rinse and it feels fine. Its really nice

Being that my hair is natural I dont shampoo my hair very often (I co wash instead) so testing this was product was a thrill. You take the same steps you would to wash your hair but this product is very light weight, it smells really really good and it leaves your hair/scalp feeling refreshed, clean and vibrant looking. Id definitely recommend this dark and lovely cleansing water to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Its a good cleanser, lathers up really rich. Took a lot to wash it out but I liked how my hair felt afterwards. Im not a fan of some of the ingredients but Id recommend it to my friends as a wash during protective styling.

I love the packaging, and the nozzle made applying it to the scalp to wash extremely easy BUT it was extremely drying. I couldnt tell if I was even washing my hair properly. I would only use this if I need to really to do a clarifying wash. If you do use this, make sure to moisturize your hair after. Before and after using the product and moisturizing my hair.
