This product is high quality and helps protect your engine better than any product I have seen on the market.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I discovered this stuff on a TV car shop show. Started using it about 3 months ago in my 2002 Toyota Highlander with 368,450 miles. I put 95% of those movies. This FR3 additive made it run smoother and brought the engine temperature down. This stuff really works, and my mechanic who builds race cars said this additive really makes a noticeable difference. At 76 years old I don't have money to waste, and this is the real deal. Thanks guys it works.
Excellent product
I had my doubts about engine additives until I tried F3 by Hot Shot! I changed my oil 10 qts. and added 1 oz. Per QT instead 1.5 as recommended. I left the following day in my Ram 2016 3500 crew cab to Boise and got 20.3 mpg there and 21.8 return to Kingman AZ! More HP, low oil temperature and less engine noise!!
Both the friction and stiction reducer work. My cold starts in my 47,000 mile 4.6 L Mustang are so drama free it's not even funny I also used it for my bicycle chain and the shifting is so crisp and quiet. It takes forever to get up to operating temperature because it is so slick and I noticed my fuel economy was up on the same route that I always take using the same driving technique I always use. I used it on the forks and the shock to eliminate any stiction that might have happened from plastic to metal contact. These guys are legit just ignore the YouTube videos not everybody's going to have a perfect experience but I can say in my case it was.
I have a '21 6.7 Cummins bought new..zero miles and have been using FR3 since the first oil change. 100,000 miles now and still have my lifters. Rotella T6 5w-40 with FR3 always changed between 7500-11,000 miles. The change interval is a little high but I've since added a bypass oil filter.
Would recommend on any type of oil works like a charm
I have a new to me 2019 F250 6.7L PowerStroke with 30k miles. I don't know the history of the truck from the previous owner(s). While researching information on this engine I came across your brand and products. I recently picked up your EDT and put the first dose in at the 2 oz per tank level. I plan to run this with each tank._x000D_ _x000D_ I have 2 questions. _x000D_ _x000D_ 1 - Should I run the diesel extreme on my next fuel tank? Or should I just continue to run the EDT?_x000D_ 2 - I picked up a 16 oz bottle of FR3 today. My truck has about 300 miles on the current oil change. Can I remove 1 quart of oil and replace it with the bottle of FR3? Or should I wait until my next oil change?_x000D_ _x000D_ Thank you.
I was looking for something to reduce the strain on my truck while pulling an RV. After a lot of research I thought I'd give Hot Shots FR3 a try. Its difficult to know if mileage has increased because while pulling it varies a lot depending on the road conditions. But it seems to be running smoother and maybe not down shifting as much. While not pulling an RV, I have noticed maybe a .4-.6 mile per gallon better mileage. Time will tell... but for now I plan to continue using it at every oil change unless something even better comes along that isn't cost prohibitive.
This stuff foams up in my engine oil, so not sure how this is protecting anything....tried in on my car and other applications, foaming action is consistent....I will NOT use further.
