If you drive a Diesel powered vehicle, this is the one additive you should use (as directed) I was skeptical at first, having used many products that did not live up to their claims, but that is not the case here. Smoother running engine, and quieter injectors were very noticeable.

Since nothing has gone wrong with my truck I can only assume this product is working. I'm using my truck as a test bed for their products on my own. I have been using their products since I bought my truck 3 years ago and only 13,300 miles. I plan to keep using their products to see if some common problems are prevented with their products.

Diesel extreme is an "occasional use' product. You don't need to use Diesel Extreme all of the time. That's what Hot Shot's EDT (Every Day Treatment) fuel treatment product is for. Diesel extreme is for use every 4,000 to 6,000 miles. It is as it's name implies, an Extreme Cleaner. Don't get me wrong, you COULD use this in all of the diesel fuel. But you really don't need to. In my tractor, I use Diesel Extreme every 4th fuel tank of diesel. The other 3 tanks of fuel are treated with Hot Shot's EDT product. Use the "Winter Formula" EDT in cold weather. Make sure to have fuel filters on hand when you run Diesel Extreme through your machine's fuel system the first time, as the crud it will dislodge and clean from the entire system, from tank, to fuel lines to injectors and of course, the lift / push pump. You will see improvement in the vehicles engine operation. It will smooth out the engine, and begin to reverse the challenges of a system which has been running pump diesel fuel. Modern ULSD needs proper enhancement to increase performance. Diesel Extreme cleans the fuel system, but also increases the Cetane level in the diesel, making the fuel burn better. It also improves the lubricity of the fuel, which is very important to help prevent excessive wear on your machines fuel system from the fuel degradation which is the new ULSD. Less diesel smoke, less smoke residue, easier combustion means better starting, especially in cold weather. I don't understand why people resist improving their machines fuel quality. As more BioDiesel blends are being sold at the pump, the Biological component of the fuel demands a product and Hot Shot sells those products Modern diesel fuel has more moisture in it due to the biological blending in the fuel. Water, or "moisture in suspense: in the fuel is not an engines friend. Water in diesel in warm weather can lead to bacterial growth within the fuel, which you do NOT want to experience. Water in diesel in cold weather is going to cause more cold filter flow issues, fuel gelling and problems you simply don't want to experience. When you can use a top quality fuel supplement to prevent problems, why wouldn't you? I know I do and always will..........You should to.

I've watched a ton of videos and read many many testimonials about this product, put it in my tank and am pleased with the result. My engine seems to run smoother, and while I haven't seen any change in fuel mileage yet, I'm only about 15 gallons in on my tank.

I have a 2012 Jetta TDI. I had no clue about Diesels and DPFs. I've been driving it for about 6 months and the engine light comes on. Throws code P2002, something about the DPF. Anyway, I drove it a couple of times on the freeway to clear the code and nothing. I put 6oz of this magic additive and drove on the freeway for about 30+ minutes and the engine light goes off! I don't know if it just a coincidence but I'm real happy right now that I don't have to get the DPF cleaned or replaced.
