This stuff works great. I did an initial clean up with 4oz per qt. 64oz for my 16 qt capacity(2014 6.7 PS) when I had found a sludge ball in my pickup screen while upgrading oil pan. I had to see what kind of clean up it did after the treatment and you could literally eat off the inside of the crank case. Engine was less rough at idle as well Love this stuff.
Used before quite motor noise and I seen 1 to 2 miles per gallon increase pulling an r v with 2012 tundra when I used it also there other products seem great
for diesel engines good injector maintenance as well as cleaner.
Neighbor has an old expedition with a lifter tick for at least a decade. Few months ago i thought he.finally fixed it. No he told.me he.tried the stiction. Eliminator so i.had to try it
Cadillac Escalade 2019, 40,000 miles and I added the Stiction product,, Wow! the engine was smoother and quiet. The engine response is quicker and it gets up and roars,
Hot Shot Stiction Eliminator is magic in a bottle. As a service manager in a Diesel shop I can definitely say this stuff works. People that have a Ford powestroke diesel will benefit from this as it slicks up the oil to allow the HUEI fuel system to perform as designed, especially in colder conditions. Well worth the investment.
I used the Stiction Eliminator, Diesel Extreme Engine Restorative +FR3 Nano Lubricant in my 2006 F250, 6.0 diesel engine. I have over 175,000 miles on the truck and live in Houston, TX so cold starts are not a normal problem for me. My mechanic told me that I had an injector out and it wouldn't be much of a problem except on the few colder mornings that we have. I also noticed that my idle was rough for about 15 seconds when the truck was cold but would smooth out. Before I replaced the injector, I wanted to use this product and see if it would help with the cold starts and idle at start up. I only had about 200 miles on the oil change in my truck so I drained a quart and added this product. I then drove 380 miles to see if I noticed any improvement. My miles per gallon has improved by about 4 mpg to over 17.5 miles per gallon. I also noticed that the truck started quicker and the idle seemed to smooth out faster than it had been. I'm still looking for more of an improvement with the cold engine start-up. But by testing it for under 400 miles, it looks very promising. I'm thinking this product will give me much more time before having to replace the injector.
Have been using this stuff for several years and it always does what it claims to do. Used it in an older Duramax engine that was having injector issues an it really helped make the engine run smoother. Have used it in my Freightliner Semi Truck since that first experience with that old duramax and it runs like new. took the oil pan off to replace the gasket and it was so clean inside I was amazed. Just tried it in a gas engine for the first time to clean the internals so we will see how that works out. Great stuff .
This Hot Shot Secret is like a magic elixir. I was told by Ford dealership that my 7.3 diesel needed new injectors which they were ready to charge me $2750 for. Searching some of the diesel forums online I started seeing this product mentioned over and over. Nearly all reviews were positive so I thought I might as well give it a try. Within 300 miles engine was already running better. At about 600 miles I thought I had a new engine under the hood. My engine had what is known as stiction. Basically grime and sludge buildup. If you're having problems with your diesel engine or gasoline engine as well try this you might be amazed at the results. I still use 1 quart at every third oil change for maintenance
