My daughter loves waffles. I usually go buy her some so I knew I needed a waffle maker. And I also saw the recipe book included and got an idea to make waffle omelettes can't wait to try it. Super convenient!! Super fast to make and easy! Perfect size in my opinion!
I originally purchased this mini waffle maker to have a waffle bar for a special occasion. While it did not get used for that, I used it for the first time this morning. I poured roughly a quarter cup of batter for each waffle; they didn't take long to bake. I will say that I waited a little longer after the light went off before removing them from the iron. I would normally leave them on my other waffle iron a little longer because I like them a little darker and crispier. These were crispy enough, even though they were lighter. From the time I made the batter to the time they were ready to eat was about 15 minutes (max). Made a total of 6 waffles. Just for reference, I used Kodiak Flapjack and Waffle Mix (1 cup Kodiak mix, 3/4 water, and 1 tbsp oil.) I guess I shouldn't really be surprised- because it is a waffle maker, but considering it wasn't expensive at all, these little waffles turned out very very well. Side note: The waffle maker, as expected, had a chemical (??) smell when I first heated it up, even after cleaning it. However, I am one of those that always throws away the first waffle (guess it makes me feel a little better???). (Photo is what I had leftover)
I am in seventies. Scaling down everything in fun ways. Easy and simple . Sometimes a treat is fun. I don't drive much or do deliveries. And just a taste is often just enough. This little maker works great. Like the recipes. Teen Grandkids will enjoy too. Creative possibilities. I do leave the batter in longer. Also good to let batter in fridge thicken. Also made some extra and put in toaster later. warm
Got this to use at my cafe. It makes perfect waffle breakfast sandwiches! You can also do little omelettes, grilled cheese, cinnamon buns etc. The possibilities are endless!!! ( after buying this I saw they have it in leopard print as well!!! O M G!)
I purchased this mini waffle maker, to make healthy treats for our two Shih-Tzu's. They love the banana, peanut butter / egg recipe treats. I freeze them and when ready for a treat, they break apart easily . It's very easy to use.
This works great and it's small and compact! I love that it won't take up too much room storing when we're not making waffles. Perfect for single waffles or creating a bunch and having them for "McGriddles" at home!
Perfect little waffle maker. Made my first waffles last night. Have to be careful not to overfill the plate with batter but it did great! Cooks fast and waffles were great.
I absolutely love everything about this waffle maker! The only part I wish was better was the crunchiness. My waffle comes out soft, and I would like it to be a little crunchy. No matter what, it makes a good waffle, and it's perfect sized for meal prep because it can fit in my toaster in the morning!
I like that it makes the perfect size waffle for my 5 year old daughter and she loved the waffles I made with the recipe that came with the iron. My only complaint is that it does not have some kind of latch to keep it closed when the waffle expanded. I pushed the lid down for the first half of the cooking time to give the outside some crunch, along with a little butter on the griddle seemed to do the trick.
So far, so good. A bit flimsy but if you only need one or 2 then its ok. I can't seem to get the waffles crispy enough but they're great reheated in a toaster. The indicator light is useless, never indicating anything strategic like temperature or waffle completion.
