Our kids n I would travel from San Antonio to McAllen Texas n would buy sunflower seeds to eat on the trip back in the 70s. Kids all grown n we still enjoy them n now we also buy the pumpkin seeds. Bought another brand n did not like them.
Great product. Wish it were in more stores. Excellent flavor and different than the Vlasic ones which taste like chemicals
This is by far the best sunflower seed I've ever had. The flavor of the dill pickle seeds from other competitors is not anywhere close to as good. Such a great seed. We buy a case for every baseball season.
There's nothing more I enjoy than a tasty juicy pickle, the stores near were I live never have pickles. There's the pickle in the bag but not a fan of those. I eat sunflower seeds rarely but when I saw these at the store I grabbed them on the limb but mainly cause I was really hungry and a pickle was on my mind. Never the less, when I got home and ate my first seed I was electrified. It was so good. I finished the bag and went for another today. You can taste the pickle, it's my go-to besides peppered. :)
i so love the dill pickle sunflower seeds rhey are my favorite. I recently made a order where i received various different flavors and then decided to make my own creations Hot Pickle- Jalapeno Hot Salsa and Dill pickle Salt and Pepper- Orginal and Cracked Pepper Other flavors yall could try Pizza, Taco, Nacho Cheese, Hot Sauce Flavor , and Salt & Vinegar email me I have aot of ideas
Super disappointed. I ordered a specific brand of sunflower seeds because that's all my husband likes and I couldn't find them in store. I paid triple what they were worth. But it was a fun little gift so I was okay with it. Nothing like opening the package Christmas Eve to stock it in his stock to see it's NOT the brand / item I ordered but another brand that he hate.
I bought a bag in Spartanburg South Carolina at a QT. First time ever trying. I will not be buying again. When I opened the bag there was a black clump covered in seasoning little smaller than a piece of charcoal. I only discovered this after getting 1/4 of way into the bag. Some seeds tasted like dill then the flavor changes to like sugar, or cinamon. The batch number is 21195220020136 or 755311. The expiration date is May 5 2026. I would agree with the negative comments the taste is all over the place. And I am hoping the chunk of whatever I found in the bag was not hazardous.
Didn't taste any dill pickle just a lot of salt! Will never buy again!
The flavor has changed. I'm not sure what it is but the "pickle" flavor they use now is terrible. I used to buy these all the time. I'll try another brand now.
David seed's used to be a family favorite when I was a little girl. I recieved a gift basket with an array of different flavored seed's because everyone that know's me know's I love sunflower seed's. I was disappointed to discover that all you can taste is an overwhelming amount of salt and nothing else. I now buy only Spitz Sunflower Seed's.
