This product smells like strong chemicals and the odor lingers on my dishes even after thoroughly rinsing. This can't be healthy! I'm tossing out my newly purchased 90 ounce bottle. Be sure to take a sniff in the store before purchasing so you don't waste your money like I did.

Dawn Ultra New Clean Scent smells absolutely awful! I've been using Ultra for YEARS, and have been very satisfied. I've read a lot of complaints from other customers who also find this scent overpoweringly terrible, and akin to a cheap perfume. WHY change it? And more to the point, why does it need a fragrance at all? If the product is effective, which it is, there is really no need to add some fake fragrance. There should never be any trace of a chemical fragrance left on clean dishes or hands after washing the dishes! Has this New Clean Scent completely replaced the Original? I certainly hope not!!! I'll have to find a different product!

The new scent in Platinum Dawn is appalling. I have used Dawn for years and I simply CANNOT tolerate the smell! After searching the internet the reviews are overwhelmingly negative. I don't know if my Voice will be added to the outcry. PLEASE change the formula back to the original. I have to throw out a gallon bottle because it leaves an awful smell on things washed in it for days!

The new scent is terrible. When my husband first used it, I checked the garbage to ensure there was no rotting fruit in it. The new scent is nauseating and gives me a headache. I am so disappointed. I've been a loyal user for decades. I can no longer have this product in my home, much less use it.

I bought the new scent dawn dish liquid . I dislike the new smell so adamantly I will be changing my dish liquid. I have been using dawn since it was sold in stores and have always praised this product. Your company has made a mistake.

The “new scent” is terrible. My nose and throat felt irritated right away and it was as if I could taste it from the fumes. I've never described soap as having fumes before but I'm switching soap brands now. This is terrible.

I grabbed a bottle of Dawn recently assuming it was the original scent…because it had the 2 ducks on the label. Well it took me awhile to figure out what was smelling in the kitchen and noticed at the top of the bottle it said New Scent. I'm glad I am able to put the mystery behind me albeit sad to say I will no longer be using Dawn as the original scent is being eliminated. This new scent is awful!

Dawn, what have you done???? I'm a professional house cleaner and have been using your dish soap for YEARS. I loved the original platinum scent. Why? Just why did you mess with it. I have a really strong nose but I'm not normally affected by scents (I usually love cleaning supplies) but this is almost unbearable. I hate that I have to switch because I love the way your product works. But I refuse to use this in clients homes.

Why on earth would you ruin a perfectly good (great) product by adding the disgusting odor fighter to it? Ugh, absolutely disapointed with this recent formula change. Bring back platinum dawn WITHOUT ODOR FIGHTER, which now with it smells like those nauseating garbage bags.

I do not like the smell of Dawn dish detergent now. I don't need to smell a floral scent when doing dishes and the formula doesn't stay soapy and last as long as it used to. Please bring back the other original dawn. Shame on you for calling this new stuff original dawn. It is not. I have allergies and this new one bothers me. Old one did not. It smelled good.
