Deflecto HR4W Four-Inch Wide Mouth Replacement Vent Hood

Purchased this same vent 20 years ago but my screen finally needed replacing. I took a chance that this was the same model as mine and it was. Just left my original vent in place and used the screen from this one and it was a perfect fit. Guess I'll have a spare vent in case mine doesn't last another 20 years.

Exactly what I was looking for

Easy to put on. The holes on the basket at the bottom are small enough to keep birds and rodents away.

Good vent cover. Easy to install. Flap opens when dryer on closes when it's not. On schedule delivery.

Bought because I needed the grill cover to keep out birds. Seems to be decent quality, time will tell. Didn't fit like the original as the size was bigger than 4". The original fit inside the 4" duct, but had to fit this outside the duct. I was able to make it work.

disliked not being a photo of the back of the vent hood to show the lip that I did not need. that caused extra installation problems!!!

Seems durable but it did not come with screws or in instructions but it's pretty easy to install. Hate that I had to go out and buy screws to install but it works for what we needed.

It's just plastic and I'm not sure that the piece on the bottom is going to keep small rodents out because they can bite through anything. Also, I ordered white and received brown, but I didn't return it so for now I'm keeping it on there, but it didn't fit that well.

The item was not the right size and did not fit the vent properly. Walmart would not exchange the item when we went to Customer Service at the store.

I was sent dark brown and not white.
