The reason I had to purchase this item is because the cats clawed the last one and it of course made using the dryer impossible. Once we got this one installed (very simple process) it is working great again. It's not a product you would buy that often but if you need one: this works great.

be sure not to let anyone cutyour hoes. I like to rearrange my appliances and the guy that I had to put it on cut it too short.

Thinking outside the box.
I actually used several of these to make a giant squid for my VBS story time. Pool noodles, spray paint and glue, bang, squid. Easy!

Just what it says
It was exactly what i ordered, more than actually, since it was longer than i need. no clamps included, had my own, but got my dryer working.

When you need it today
This does not have solid ends so you need to use tape to make each end firm enough to put on/in connections at both the dryer and outlet ends. We live in a rural area and a more professional quality one we would have probably paid more for, but this was in stock at our local Walmart and we were able to have it delivered to our home with our Walmart account which worked really well for our very busy weekend.

NOT 8 feet!! 5.5 feet!!
its truly aggravating when blatant lying about products mess up everything. we need our dryer today, so we must use it. its 5.5 feet tops! 8 feet would almost exist if you stretched to point of ripping which would compromise safety!! you can't count pre assembled length!! you must have a loose safe 8 feet! because its not 8 feet, and likely won't stretch close to that, when i need to pull dryer out for cleaning, it will rip. thanks a lot. do not buy if you value truthful product listing!

Beyond Useless!!
Terrible quality, has no structure to hold and try to work with it. A Slinky has more structure I ended up putting my old one back on.

Poor Quality
The foil on this duct is too thin. The foil on end of the duct had a hole in it when I opened it. It tears very easily. I bought another brand and had no issues. I may have just received a bad one and probably should have returned but ...
