When it was opened, the fruit juice did not pop out because it is gel, it was very friendly to kids. The bubble is very fun with watermelon juice inside. The apples and boba in watermelon gel variety is great! They are definitely on the sweeter side (with about 22 grams of sugar per cup), probably too sweet for some adults, but the kids LOVE them! The small pieces of apple are flavorful and not soggy. The boba is are like little popping, flavorful jelly blobs. Not mushy and each has a little "pop" of juice. The watermelon gel is easy to put your spoon through and packed full of yummy flavor!

The Del Monte Apple Watermelon Fruit Cup was good. I mostly tasted apples and not watermelon. I did not mind this as I like apples. I like that this has gel and not liquid. It made opening the cup easier, I did not have to worry about juice going everywhere. These would be great for road trips or at the park with kids. I would recommend them. Not terrible,but the sweetness over powered the other ingredients. A bit too sugary for me. I couldn't detect the apple taste, and the watermelon was weak in flavor. Boba "pearls" were good consistency. I want to taste fruit, not sugar, or I'd grab a bowl of sugar to eat. Not terrible,but I like the strawberry peach much better. Great to pack for lunch, though. Perfect portion size and won't leak. I recommend only if you like very sugary snacks.
