Delicious....heated on the stove.. YUMMY
Leave it to DelMonte to come up with this delicious recipe. I decided to heat up the pears on the stove. The pears stayed firm and the light syrup with cinnamon smelled and tasted delicious! Wow....this was a nice treat with Greek plain yogurt as a dessert. Will be trying the other variety's with frozen greek yogurt or real vanilla ice cream. YUM YUM YUM

Perfect dessert in a pinch
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are a fun twist on canned fruits! The cinnamon is a nice touch and the syrup is very light and not too sweet. We had these as a dessert and topped it with whipped cream. So delicious. They tasted fresh, looked awesome, and had a little bit of crunch, but not too much or too mushy!

Don't waste your money
Unfortunately, these sound much better than they are. The pears seemed to be underripe: they were very hard. The liquid smelled like cinnamon, but there was little to no cinnamon flavor.

There was a stem still attached to a pear slice. The pear slices were uneven and odd shaped. For a brand name like Del Monte, I was very disappointed. Your store brand GV prepares a better product at a lower price.
