Brought this laptop around 2024. I'm not sure if there was any new updates, but so far, it is 10/10. And I use it heavily for my work (I'm in Finance if it helps any, but do not use heavy apps) and school. It is still the same performance as the one of the first day.
This is a great laptop it has everything you need and great for home schooling. The set up is quick and easy. Great price too. No issues with this so far.
My new laptop was easy to setup and started using it immediately. I only have one complaint so far. The power button is where my old delete button was, so I inadvertently turn it off by mistake.
Just a piece of junk. It's slow The battery only lasts a couple of hours. But the worst part of ordering this for delivery was that FEDEX DELIVERED IT and left it on the ground about a third of the way up the driveway. This normal for FEDEX and I will never choose WALMART delivery again. >>>> ZERO STARS FOR FEDEX !!!
I like the laptop, touch screen, keyboard is nice. But when I got it, it had to go through so many up dates just to get started it took the hole day, so long that I thought something was wrong and called support and they finished the last few updates for me, crazy. One other thing I don't like is that Microsoft likes to try and take over everything, I hate Edge but you really can't get rid of it, I use Google and I have it set as my default but Microsoft is always trying to override it. You have to stay on top of it. Other than that it's a good little laptop.
would get an error that something was not repairable when it froze and tried to fix through their prompts. i did a windows repair and seemed to fix the error, so far, but still freezes up. i will try to do a whole erase and set up as new again to see if that helps, but have never had issues with Dell, which is why i went with another one.
There have been several times that I wake up my computer and it is stuck in no mans land acting like it's corrupted and won't work. I skip whatever message shows up and it finally comes back.
When I ordered this with the walmart app the specs didn't say anything about if it had a backlight keyboard so I asked sparky assistance and it said it did mentioning people praised the backlight keyboard. When I got it it didn't have one and that's a must for me. I returned it a couple days later.
These were extremely underpowered and the USB didn't come with a standard power or image processing capability so we had a purchase a specialized docking station and provide a separate power source. Worst build ever and I wish I could return each device for a better replacement
I have now two laptops Dell and Lenovo. I am using regularly both the laptops, but after one year of use Dell laptop is showing keyboard issue after warranty expired, its bad quality product. My Lenovo laptop is smooth still performing good and no issues till now.
