I bought this for my husband so he would finally finish building the rabbit hutch. It's been finished for a few weeks now %26 he is happy with how the saw performed. His next project is building the goat hut. It was a selfish purchase but now there's no excuse for why things aren't getting built.
I don't write too many reviews, but this is noteworthy. Right around $200 (with tax), and you get a quality table saw... I have a metabo table saw (in storage, and would take a lot just to get to it) and I really didn't wanna spend another $600, but really, the only difference I've noticed is no built in rolling stand. so I ordered one (powertec, amazon, $150) that is still only $350 and I mean it. This is a good quality table saw, you can tell from the instructions and the way it's packaged before you even use the saw. Delta is a good brand and I am very happy with my purchase.
Great value for the price. Dust collector attached to my shop vac worked well. Changed out the blade for a finer cut on paneling I was cutting. Precise cutting and plenty of power, never bogged down while cutting 8' lengths of wood. Adjustments were very easy to make.
One heck of a saw for the price. Works and runs as good as my last Skil worm drive did. And save a load of money. On down fall I've found is the fence doesn't lock down as tight as I like. Slips some.
We don't cut a lot of wood or metal or anything like that. But what wood and foam board we have cut this table saw has had no issues and was super easy to setup and use. The angles came out perfect too.
it seams to be wellbuilt. also it is easy to put together. plenty of power. also like the way the on and off switch is made.easy to turn on and bump the switch for quick shut off. the safety features are a plus .
My Ryobi table saw that was about 13 years old decided to blow its motor so I needed a quick replacement for a job. This Delta table saw fit the bill however the fence does not grab real tight so you don't want to push against it too hard as you're feeding modular lumber or plywood otherwise it will move and you will not get accurate cuts. A sharp blade is a must with this table saw. The blade it came with was sharp enough %26 did the job for me so I was pretty happy with it. It allowed me to finish a commercial project on time.
The screws that hold the piece that split the blaze is not flush with the table in which it sits down in. Therefore your work rises or get hung up on the screws and you don't get a clean or true cut. In order to achieve the latter, you have to file down the screws to even it all out to prevent your work from being hung up on the screws and/or being rised up as you slide your work into the saw.
This was a replacement for a wrong item received. I can't even give a rating for the product I ordered because the replacement was the same wrong item as the one I sent back
They delivered 2 universal Table stand instead of the actual Delta Table saw. One of the Universal Table stands has the same SKU as the Delta Table saw but shouldn't have been hard to differentiate
