Top Shelf Turtles!
We do not consider ourselves to be candy or sweet consumers. I rarely purchase cakes, cookies or candy, or make/bake them myself. That said, these DeMet Turtles are definitely the exception. DeMet's turtles are fresh, smooth and creamy. The nuts are crunchy and tasty and the entire piece literally melts in your mouth. I try having one at a time but that doesn't always work. This year my husband has gone through these at the rate of about a bag every three weeks! The problems we had last summer were two miss-deliveries. When we got them they were melted together and inedible, but we don't believe that to have been the manufacturer's fault. They now seem to be on track.
