I have been a HUGE fan of the etire Design Essentials line since the late 90s my hair dresser in high school used it. Then I started using it in my own business as a hairstylist. I'm So very proud of this line it's truly of the best for decades!! And its very versatile, I do all textures and ethnicities. I use it on them all.
It's appears to make my hair stronger, hoping it continues.
I'll be honest. I LOVE everything DE. Only line that didn't agree with my hair was the Chebe line. All of the other products are top Tier.
I have curly course hair and this makes my hair feel soft, curl beautifully with a nice but not overpowering scent
Works wonders for my hair. My hair feels so soft and healthy after using it.
I've been using design essentials for my locs going on 4 years now. I just started using the reconstructive conditioner to help with my thinning locs do to Rubber band use. It's helps them stay stronger and stopped alot of the thinning. I'd recommend. I ust this after the Oat and Henna, and Honey Creme
This reconstructive conditioner smells very good with lots of slip, it controls breakage and really builds the bonds back in your hair. More importantly, it works very well on on a diversity of hair textures. It is best used as a deep conditioner and ph balancer . Using it with a hooded dryer really helps it to do it's job on a more penetrating level. This stabilizer works great on permed or color treated hair.
I never received my order! It was sent back by the post office and delivered back to your headquarters on January 26, 2026 ! I have not received a refund nor have I heard from customer service.
NEVER GOT IT. BEEN WAITING ALL THIS TIME FOR IT AND IT GETS RETURNED FOR NO APPARENT REASON. NOT COOL😡
Items received were damaged. I emailed with pictures and got a response that the items would be reshipped. I didn't receive the items within 2 weeks, so I followed up only to learn the items were never reshipped to me. I didn't receive a refund for the damaged items either. Horrible experience.
